More info on RBS:
Yes its a very diuverse community, but the beauty of it is that we can most of the time live together as one big family. Its a pretty nieghborhood with parks and shuls and community centers (not s/t every jewish comunity has in Israel). So for the most part its a really nice place to live. For a/o who wants to live in angloland come join us in RBSA.
devoMemberthanks alot wxyz. commradeship is appreciated and well deserved. Why is there so much controversy about being from out of town or from in town? Who really cares? Why can’t we get along as good friends or even brothers and sisters? Thanks for the support!!
devoMemberWow! what an interesting topic. I wonder where our shidduch system comes from. Can’t we do it in a way that is good for everyone? Some people are mature enough to have a good relationship after only a few dates, so why shouldn’t they get married right away. But if you’re not compatible, why torture yourself and get into a relationship that will just break up later in a divorce?! Where’s the logic in that?
devoMemberI’m from a small city- what i guess most people would call out of town. but I strongly disagree with that labeling. For me intown is where I come from. NY is out of town for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who is anyone to categorize me as out of town? I might be out of YOUR town but its all based on point of view!!!
devoMemberWhy not mybat? Even if she doesn’t want to hear it, why would you let her kill an unborn baby. Its like having an abortion, which we don’t endorse, but smoking is o.k. Its like being an alchoholic or a drug addict!!!!!!!!!!
devoMemberWow, I’ve never heard of such a place. sounds very kabbalistic, but we’re talking about a community in Mercaz Haaretz not some place on Har Carmel.
