Grandmaster I’m finaly getting why everybody likes bashing you, you just love to use frumkeit to bash other people, While its no mitzvah to have a muzinikal dance its not an aveirah eigther. we had one and there was notting about what you described, MIL felt a milion dancing with the broom with all married children behind the mechitzah the men didn’t even know about it.

its only extream because its not the standard, a kiddush is in shull a bar mitzvah in many places is in shul so is a bris, and nobody thinks its extream. And btw in many comunnities in Europe the chupah is still in the shull yard as it was for are grandparents in pre WWII.

Noting like sitting at your own table in your own home with your kids around, however for some people thats not an option, so instead of being a geust they choose to go to a hotal. each to his own.

In many shuls the regulers in the ezras nashim (usely middle aged women) react hostile to the younger people invading THEIR shul during megila reading or tkias shofer. So just like there is a gabbai by the men so sould there be a gabbaite by the women to welcome the unregulers, give them a siddur and make sure they have a seat.

I used to read if I was not sleepy, But in the last ten years that was never sheiyech. By the time I go to sleep I’m so tired that I fall asleep the minute I touch my pillow. When I was a kid I use to read for hours in bed.

Toast, scrambled eggs and coffee.
I give more for the boys rebbi then the grils teacher because my sons have one rebbi so I can aford to give nicely. my daughters on the other hand are having two teachers plus two assistents so that money needs to be split by four teachers. In total each daughters tips is double then each sons but the teachers still end up getting half the amount the rebbi gets.
