Chanel your negetive energy into something positive, like visit someone sick, do something that you will be proud of looking back.
No I didn’t, but looking back I regret not doing so. And no I dont blame my parents or in laws, they were generous but I still should have said no thanks.
When I used to go to my parents for yom tov instead of buying something “nice” I would buy something they need, for exp. when I knew that their perculator just broke I would come with a new one.
I would also give up most of the gifts, I dont need:
A gold watch (a $10 one from Walmart is just fine).
A $400 dollar Esrog holder (I would buy myself a leather one for $30).
A $1,000 chussan Shas (a reguler one served me just fine in yeshiva).
and the list goes on and on.
I always fall asleep while reading with my glasses on (not lenses). In camp I was teased that I keep my glasses on to see my dreams…..
Some sing “shoshanas yakov” and in the pesach edition of the nitra cook book there is a recipe for an “Ester HamMalke kugel”.
I found a long lost USB with loads of info on it under the rediator. I was loking high and low for it. Seams my 3 year old is the culprit.

i would give up on the ivitations,i would also send out post cards or maybe make pnone calls to all the ppl i want to invite.
i would maybe also give up on the flowers, and take fake ones.
and also very important, i will not buy fancy gowns, only rented ones. for the whole family.

do you know what i found -out- today, that when you clean walls for pesach with a wet shmata and soft scrub, you don’t need to paint anymore. soft scrub (done right) does a wonderful job. it gives it a fresh look.
eclipse, an after you’ve done that, what should we eat? any good ideas? or good food advice? i mean recipes.

as of today, i defrosed my freezer, and working on finishing the playroom. next week we’ll work on the dining room iy”h. blessed are the pesach kichens……..

you know, thinking again about the title, it could also sound like staying in shape in the month on nissan. maybe?

yeah, that is really sad. nebach on the kallah, i wish her a full recovery quickly.
We nap them very late in the afternoon like 5-6pm and wake them 15 minutes before the seder starts.

I’m flattered!!! But we all did it!!! We played like big boys without any fighting or bickering. Lets keep it that way.
I do foot the bill, and I can tell you there is so much plesure to be able to do that. Something we sould never take for granted, and while doing so we need to remember those who can’t.
