Oh! so its ok to alter a picture without permision ofthe copyright holder for a joke e.i. to poke fun (in a very demeaning way) of a woman running for VP on a major party line, but if you deleate someone from a picture for modesty reasons then dont even botter apoligizing….
(BTW, I agree it was wrong to deleate clinton from the picture, so does the editor of “Di Tzeitung”).
There is a difference between “witch chasides you belong” and “whats your favorite chasides”.

That was very respecting of women….
but there was no outcry of the copyrights of the origional picture owner, of course not, it was not a frum newspaper doing it.

Had it been any other newspaper making a mistake it would never been an ishue, maybe a little correction on page 46, but since its a frum jewish paper they are looking for blood.

I was onced visiting my Grandparents in BP and on the way home my then 8 year old decided he needs the bathroom, So I stoped at (-) {one of the major minyen factories} and it was already after 3pm with a shul full of people in talis & tefilin, so my son asked me “Tati, do they have the minhag in (-) to daven minchah in a talis?”…….

Brooklyn is like the zoo, its beutiful to visit as long you can go home after the visit is over and you are not caged in.
