If we dont like high property taxes we vote DOWN the outrages buget hikes.
Especialy if YOU live in the Bronx and YOU are not paying $12,000-$16,000 a year for a system that pays 75 cents for a pencil while in Walmart you get a dozen pencils for that price.

and as the Tosfas Yom Tov says that refares even to non jews (as known that the word “Adam” meens even non jews, while “Ha’Adam” meens only jews). The mishnah then goes on to add ?????? “?????” ?????? ???? ?????
so I believe anybody who can learn a simple Mishnah understands that that is exlusivly for jews.

The gemarah in Brachos says that only in the middle of Semonah Esrei is one not alowed to add anything but afterwards one can add even as long as the Vidu of Yom Kipur. So there you go.

Of course I will vote no but the reasoning behind the increase is;
a)The teachers have outrages contracts with huge hikes every year and they refuse to renegotiate like most school districts in neighboring NJ did. (BTW their contracts expire the comming year so its vitel to vote for the candidates who will not let this happen again when negotiating new contracts).
b) The state is cutting funding so the tax payers burden goes up.
You cant have a copyright on a tune. As long as they replayed the music and didnt just copy and paste it its legal. Think about when you go to a wedding and they play the latest hits is it legal? The answer is yes.
popa I was just thinking before that its so boring this week, I meen we need a good debate, But you are right we need to start earlier, now its almost bedtime. (shabbos nap was disrupted when the kids needed me to act as UN peace keeper…)

They didnt accuse anyone of being like the Taliban, all they said was its ironic that those who try to tell them how to do things accuse THEM for being Taliban.

They apoligized for photoshoping the picture, witch I think everyone agrees was a mistake (mistake as in wrong, not as in inocent) giving anybody who disagrees with them a feild day.
They did not and will not apoligize for their policy of not puting pictures of women in THEIR newspaper.
