The first flakes of darkness just started falling in the New York metro area.
A close family mamber of mine sat on a jury in a drug case (no jews involved) and in became apperent that the goverment was trying to frame the defandent who bought drugs as the ring leader of a drug gang while the real ring leader got a deal to testify agains the defandent, but when he took the witness stand it was so obviously false, so the jury found him not guilty on the drug dealing charges while finding him guilty for drug possesion.
Moving out of NYC? You meen you wont be able to hear all kind of noise all night long? How can a good frum jew even suggest that?…
BPT, thats a question the camp directors need to ask. (hopefuly not just take are opinion here in the CR).

The National Weather Service is advising people who suffer from DAS (Darkness Anexity Syndrom) should remain in lighted rooms during the night or be in a state of consiousness otherwise known as sleeping.
They predict that the darkness will come from the east to the west, and in some eastern parts of the globe its already getting dark.
They are also predicting that tonight will be dark but will light up around early morning.

Have those people retested by a real professional. (only 1 in 400 score above 145).

One of my close family members used to work in a eatery in the LES, there is a very nice yiddish community there including many students of MTJ (Mesivteh Tifares Yerushleyim).

Obviously everyone can make a mistake every once in a while (as avident from your post)…
But seriously speaking I would rank lower on an IQ test because of my low spelling and grammer skills. (Which in this case is not a sign of weakness in laungauge arts, its a sign of not learning properly the English laungauge [my Hebrew and Yiddish are perfect]). Thats why its importent to have a professional interprate the test results.
When a student with an otherwise high IQ fares lower in lets say math, we can asume that he missed some instructions and a little tutoring will bring him up to speed, while a kid with a lower IQ is not ment to understand a very hard math concept and his teacherturor should focus more on teaching the basics. (of course there is no hard rule, some people are better in math and logic while others are better with spelling and grammer, only a profassional should make decissions based on IQ tests.)
Just in case anybody cares to know, if you grew up in a different culture (e.g. in another country or in a sheltered enviroment tipical for a chasidishe boy) you are expected to get a lower number then your real IQ because some questions will be about common knowledge, and they have a total different common knowlege then the general popalation. A profesional working with those sectors will take that into acount when doing an avaluation.
People have a need for down time. Whether its spent reading a book, talking on the phone or being in the CR, its ones own choice. Of course just like reading some people will go overboard. Just like everything alse in life, moderation is the key.
