deiyezoogerMember“What if your volunteered time actually caused the Tzedakah to get more money?”
I for exemple work full time for an importent org. and I get paid a regular wage, however since I so much admire this org. I’m doing certein things that are totaly not my job, (think along the line of a cook in a school who will tutor a child one hour every afternoon {not actual exemple}). If I won’t volenteer my time the org. will have to pay real money to hire someone to do it. Is that like giving money to tzedakah?
deiyezoogerMember???? ??? ???? ??? ??? ??? ???? ?????
deiyezoogerMemberI have a freind who has a reguler job, but in the evening he drives a bus for a school and instead of getting paid he asks the school to deduct that from a poor family’s tuition. Is that the same as taking that amount from the school and giving it directly to the family so they can `pay tuition?

July 24, 2011 11:17 pm at 11:17 pm in reply to: Do you know anything about making cappuccino? #788938deiyezoogerMemberI googled “kosher banana axtract” and somethings came up, try it. (sorry I didn’t have the time to read them but it sounded intresting).
deiyezoogerMemberThe Point here is not whether one should accept glillah, its about giving the same honor for someone who is still not married.
deiyezoogerMember“oomis: As zeidy pointed out, my issue is not with the kids who get it, it is with the nebs who get it.”
PBA – I have to agree with you, a 30 year old single should not get glilah while his 19 year old married cusin (or sometimes even brother) gets an aliyah.
deiyezoogerMemberoomis dont take him so serious, I dont think PBA ie even married yet (please correct me if I’m wrong).
As to maftir the gemarah in Megillah says that in order to apease the one getting maftir (which is an inferior aliyah because even a kid under bar mitzvah can get it) he also gets Musaf.
deiyezoogerMemberwas she upset or glad?….
deiyezoogerMember??? ???? ?????
deiyezoogerMemberThey have Europien formaleties.
deiyezoogerMemberPBA – YOU got gelilah this shabbos by any chance?…

deiyezoogerMemberBack to the title of this tread “who needs to change”, the answer is YOU!!
YOU need to believe more in yourself!!
YOU need to DEMAND more respect!!
YOU need to be less dependent!!
YOU can do it!!
(keep in mind I never said you should leave him, but the option needs to be on the table, he can’t take you for granted. I do believe that once you put down the rules he might change).
deiyezoogerMemberAYC – you the words out of my mouth.

deiyezoogerMemberIf he wants to be IN let him behave like he is IN. Thats why its so importent for you to have a job, not that you HAVE to pay the rent but for him to know that you have the possibility to do so if he dosen’t shape up.
deiyezoogerMember???? ????? ????? ???? ????? ?? ?????
deiyezoogerMember“if not I would tell you to get yourself a job”
In any case that will be a good idea, if possible even get a degree so you want be so dependent on him everytime you need twanty bucks which will give some control.
deiyezoogerMemberAYC Oh yes!! let the bum know that if someone goes he goes, maybe then he will relize that he DOES have something to loose and will start behaving like a man.

deiyezoogerMember“i actually have seen a lot of positive come from netureei karta with my own eyes i have read many letters from muslims and pro palestinians sent to NK where they tell how they hated all jews and would spit on the street every time they would see one, and after seeing or attending anti zionist rallies and seeing orthodox jews sympathising with them they realized that not all jews are evil and they are much more favourably disposed of jews now- instead of spewing out hatred at members of klal yisroel whether or not you agree with them, how about researching and finding out exactly how much good they are actually doing for the yiden! they are definatly lessening the anti semitism in the world that is a fact- and you just shout at them?”
What are you drinking?
deiyezoogerMember?????? ??? ???? ?? ???
deiyezoogerMember“I just don’t get NK…”
Don’t try to get into their heads, you might not find your way out…
deiyezoogerMemberThere was a major heat wave a few years ago in France, and there was more then 10,000 people dead, mostly alderly people who were left in the hot city alone while there kids were vacationing in the contryside.
deiyezoogerMember?? ????? ?? ??? ??? ????? ???
deiyezoogerMember????? ???? ???? ??
deiyezoogerMemberThese people are so hungry to be in the news, they must of felt realy left out of the spotlight when klal Yisroel was busy searching and murning for a litle kid.
deiyezoogerMember“I agree with radishes. It is summer. It is hot. Are you surprised? Is it not out of the ordinary. “
I agree, but we can still daven that nobody is hurt in this heat wave (As of yesterday there was more then 20 people dead in the south from this heat wave).
