Hello Shticky!! Thanks for the shout out, I vanished when I realized its becoming an adiction for me and I wasted many hours each day posting. The AYC scandle was the last straw for me. but I still check in almost every night for a few minutes. I miss you guys alot but I have to do whats best for me, so for the most part I refrain from posting.
You make them before shabbos. (some are makpid to do it the last thing in that pot after all the non gebrockts is done).
Some have the minhag to say “shalom aleichem” when other Yomim Tovim are on shabbos but not on Pesach since then Hasham comes down himself and there is no need for the Malachim to take up our tefilos, while others do sing it even on peshach as Hakaros hatov for the malachim for doing so the entire year.

Here we go again, another good poster being mistreated. Then we all wonder what happened here, why everyone left…
I’m still here but much less then I used to, and most of the time I don’t feel like commenting any more. I so sick of all the stuff thats going on here lately, and besides that a lot of good poster are no longer around.
Girl schools by nature our competitive, they need to compete with each other so the level of learning keeps going up. Never mind the fact that most students dont realy look things up themselves. (I used to do my sisters limudei kodesh homework all the time, her teacher had no problem with it as long the homework was handed in on time…)
Its called “Mood”, as in today I’m in a good mood while yesterday I was moody….

Romney is steady at around 25-30% while the others take chances rising and then falling. Nobody realy loves Romney but he is the best chance the GOP has to beat Obama. He is a good debator and runs a well orgenized campeign. Gingrich is probebly the most competent of the bunch but is not very likeble and has a lot of baggege aldough he can make the argument that he metured since he left congress in 1998.

The Isreali raid on the Asiraq reactor in Iraq was on Shevuos. According to halacha protecting the border (or the country at large) is pikuach neffesh and permitted on shabbos.

An addiction is when you know that what you’r doing is not good for you but you can’t help it. (Aldough an addict will likely not admit he has a problem).

Nafal l’mishkov dosent mean you are actualy bedridden. It means you would lie down if you have the option to do so. (e.g. a mother who has to take care of young kids but feels bad enough that if someone would be avalible to take over the kids she would lie down then she is aloud to take a refuah)

Clinton was not running for the Republican namination. If he would he would loose big time.

IMHO one can’t resume “normal” life after such an horriffic expirience. They can eighter fall into depresion and waist away their life or they can become someone very special and inspiering but in any case not a simple “normal” man. Lets hope he return home safely and quickly and the second scinario turn out to be the case.
