I thought that only happens to me. I can be at a wedding , bris , bar mitzvah, somebody always asks me , “what are you doing here?”
I think you should speak to somebody in charge . That is no way to discipline a child. I would like to know his train of thought behind that ” punishment”.

Thank you middlepath, I needed to hear that. I’m a very sensitive person and overly shy person by nature, so I don’t want or need the limelight, but sometimes its nice to be acknowledged . : )
