Davar KatanMember
this English teshuvot phenomenon is an aish zarah from the open orthodoxy/conservative/idf crowd. how do you think they matired driving on Shabbos? read the responsum it’s on the jts website. please let’s try to keep it strictly orthodox here.
Davar KatanMemberdr. patur please don’t quote English journals for halacha. we use only classical Hebrew teshuvos.
Davar KatanMemberAnd Abercrombie?!!! come on
Davar KatanMemberCologne is begged isha plain and simple.
Davar KatanMemberalso even if you’re correct that there’s such an accepted inyan I think it’s clear that the motivations behind the pesach kezayis don’t stem from this.
Davar KatanMemberRabbi patur, is there any mekor for your “inyan” in any accepted halacha sefer. I’m sure you can find many such ideas in chassidish and machshava seforim but if that’s the way you pasken shailas…
Davar KatanMemberR dr popa, I don’t mean to offend you but kneidlach can most definitely be made without matza meal in fact the’re much better that way. ask your wife(?) to make it for you. personally my husband likes my yr round kneidlach much better than my pesach ones. 2nd read up on your history polish flatbread crackers were all the rage in 17th & 18th century eastern Europe. sort of like their yeshivaworld.
Davar KatanMember1 cup macaroons (ground)
1 3/4 cups potato starch
1/2 cup water
1 egg per matza
mix together until you have a nice paste
break up matza and coat in the paste
fry over medium flame
BEST MATZA BREI EVER!

Davar KatanMemberAnd mr. patur, why don’t you ask if you’re even yotzei at all with horseradish. look in the poskim (even the mishna berura) its very questionable. if u want a good chumra that’s the place to start
Davar KatanMemberand btw schnitzel is an israeli Zionist food – abizrayhu d’avoda zara I’d be careful if I were u before publicizing u eat it ppl might start suspecting u ditched the asifa. tsk tsk
Davar KatanMemberAnd did moshe rabeinu eat cakes kugels and schnitzel in the midbar. I think not. He was sitting in his streimel and bekisheh fiering tish giving out matza noodle soup shirayim
Davar KatanMemberKneidlach are a polish peasant dish adopted by ignorant jews a few hundred years ago. probably chukas akum to make them my dear popa.
Davar KatanMemberI don’t get your question. Every meal you ever eat you should be machmir for the largest kezayis and shortest kidei achila, otherwise you risk s bracha livatala by benching. Safeik brochos lihakeil. Esp if you assume we’re more machmir by the seder bc of the bracha beforehand.
Davar KatanMemberSpeak to any talmid of rav moshe and you’ll see that saying he had strong opposition to not eating gebrokts is an extreme understatement.
Davar KatanMemberBitul issur lichatchila, not shishim, davar hamaamad, nosein taam. need I go on. people don’t buy things to be mivatel them on purpose, it’s a chumra. All part of the prepesach ocd/super hekpeida (depends who u ask the arizal or r dr twerski(; )
