Daniell11MemberThe goq, then they are adults so are able to keep torah and receive mitzvot.
Daniell11MemberGavra at work where is this quote from? I think you have got it a bit mixed up
Daniell11MemberMamash are you Zionist??
Daniell11MemberMany gedolei hador say don’t judge a book by its cover many people who look like a goy are actually talmidei chachomim in disguise.
Daniell11MemberAgreed it is summer camp.
Daniell11MemberSo therefore we should reduce the amount of negative effects by listening to Jewish music which are mainly uplifting.
Daniell11MemberBut that was one of the reasons. What about chukas hagoy? I don’t understand how people can say they enjoy non Jewish music and that it doesn’t rub off on them it does.
Daniell11MemberAnd it says in the gemorah that r’ elozor listened to non Jewish music and he went off. If a great man like him, who taught rabbi Meir, the tanna kama in the mishna, listened to this type of music how can we who are so weak in Torah afford to listen to non Jewish music?
Daniell11MemberI mean by non Jewish music music that has non Jews singing it and having non Jewish words. Jewish music with Jewish Hebrew/ Yiddish words in it or of it has Jewish religious context.
Daniell11MemberThen why bejoyful are you on the internet?
Daniell11MemberSurely one should want yom Kippur to go on for aslong as possible
Daniell11MemberNfgo3 thanks for that useful advice!
Daniell11MemberShecoyach for all your help. Will report back in a few months.
Daniell11MemberNo. It gets a bit awkward when it comes too Judaism
Daniell11MemberThank you for all your help. I will try and put these pieces of advise into practice and I’yh I will get my friend out of these acts. I seriously hope that he will come back to the only complete nation of the jewish people.
Daniell11MemberI don’t think there’s such thing as tzaraas anymore mamashtov98 i don’t think there’s anything wrong
Daniell11MemberI hear your decision. Leeds is quite yeshivish close to Manchester and I hear there’s a new kolel. I do have a good friend in Leeds who is quite yeshivish. But if you want your children to grow up in a frum environment than if I were you I’d go to Gateshead which has many good yeshivas. Obviously its up to you but your desicion is your desicion. Hatzlocha and have a good shabbos.
Daniell11MemberWhat do I do whilst being a friend? Invite him around for shabbos? What else? I fear that inviting him round for shabbos may make him break shabbos as he lives far away?
Daniell11MemberThe Gateshead community is extremely choshuv. Move there.
Daniell11MemberWe want Moshiach now
