80 (I think!), your funny! Instead of answering me, you change it yourself! Can I get a clear answer? Please? With a cherry on top?!
There is no self-service on that one.
d aMemberWhat about a Coffee Room Blackberry App?
We got the YWN BB App, but to go on the CR on a BB is torture.
September 21, 2010 7:39 pm at 7:39 pm in reply to: How to keep kids out of the way before yom tov #698718d aMemberd aMemberMother101, for it to take longer, give your kids white paper (scrap) and have them color the paper with crayons or markers and then cut them out.
d aMemberI really think that Shwekey and Levine sound beautiful together.
How about putting Yaakov and Yosef Chaim on stage together? They will never do it!!!
d aMemberWe put tablecloths on the tables because we have to serve the food.
d aMemberYou see that? Noone notices things that are [sticky]! After I said about un[sticky]ing it, did people notice it.
Edit: OOPS! I thought I was on the “Your Feedback: New YWN Website” thread.
d aMembereclipse, I was wondering, how do you get songs to singers? How do you get their info? How do you get them to listen to you?
d aMemberLook at that! I speak, and things happen! COOL!!!
d aMemberMaybe its time to wipe the honey off this thread and make it “un[sticky]”?!
(This thread was fun!)

Your first line doesn’t really fit in together with your other ones. Am I not seeing a joke or are you a very knowledgeable non-frum person?
d aMemberHealth, Iv’e been biting for so many years. I always bit when I wanted. Thats not going to make me stop?
d aMemberNative Israel said above:
parents have got to mix out of their childrens lives and give them independence
I know someone who, if not for their parents involvement, would be married to a partner who defiantly was not right. Lets just say that, in marriage, one is not supposed to be a mother but a wife (or vice-versa).
You are right, parents have to back off and let the new couple build a home of shalom and happiness. But someone also has to be watching. From afar. And if something comes up, let them work it out. But up to a point.
d aMemberblinky
why?
aimhabonim
Dunno
Can you explain?
d aMemberWell, I’ll tell you how your babysitter does it. She turns on the gas on the stove without lighting the fire.
Yes, I know of such an incident.
No, you don’t know if your babysitter does it.
That was a crazy story! It wasn’t a babysitter, it was a day care center I think! Some people are nuts!!!

Cut (or bite) your nails real short before shabbos. This way there is nothing to bite on shabbos.
Don’t worry, I don’t need to cut my nails before Shabbos, they are too short to cut! And even if I bite them very, very short, I still will bite my skin. Its a big problem!
d aMemberI didn’t read all the comments on the page.
A few weeks ago, I was by a Simcha and this guy next to me was being extremly nice to the waiters. It wasn’t very hard. Just say how good the food looks and how good he is seing. Don’t just do it once. Do it every time! Its not so hard!!!
d aMemberAishes Chayil, I hear what your saying, bt I said above:
I was doing it, (with a little peeking here and there, but then I’d stop myself) until Rosh HaShana came. During davening, my fingers starting bothering me and my hand started going to my mouth. I kept on pushing myself back, but my fingers were rreally bothering me. (I can not explain this “bothering”. It is very weird…) I think I even got a piece of nail off on R”H R”L.
THAT was Rosh HaShana! There is something in biting nails, that once you start, you NEED to contine.
d aMemberPashuteh Yid, your post is very cute!
It reminds me of a joke:
You can pick your friends,
And you cabb pick your nose,
BUT, you can’t pick your friend”s nose!
d aMemberThanks 80, your the greatest! I’ll check it out later.
d aMemberJust look at all the too flashing ads on the sides of this page! Way too much happening on the sides of YW….!
d aMember80, you know any more info? You know where I can get it? You know how much it sells for? You know any real success stories? You know I have lots of questions?!
d aMemberBy the way, if you read the above posts, I am (if you didn’t guess) the same “da” just with a space. (Yes, I am the one who started this ridiculous thread!)
d aMemberOkay. Last week, I stopped biting my nails. I put on clear nail polish!! and told myself NO MORE BITING!

Shabbos, I kept on stopping myself. Then non Sunday, I just let it go and bit off my thumb nail. (It got pretty big over the week!)
This morning, I started again. More nail polish. But I don’t know what’s going to be. I’m trying to stop, but its crazy hard and I can’t seem to do it.
Someone, please give me a real eitzah! I really need some good advice…

I know of another school who used a parent a s a plumber but then the Hanhalla got into a fight with the parent over money…
d aMemberTen Lost is a sequel to Alef Shin
When they came out with Ten Lost, Alef Shin was already sold out. So instead of reprinting Alef Shin by itself, they printed Alef Shin and Ten Lost in one volume.
