HIE, doesn’t this belong in the Suggestions to Improve YWN thread?
http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/suggestions-to-improve-ywn
d aMemberReb Benzion Greiper writes many pamphlets on many issues, mainly Shalom Bayis.
d aMemberI don’t think it ruins the etzem of Pesach, however, I do think people are silly that they can’t go without mac and cheese; pizza; bagels etc. for a week!
And Motzei Yom Tov, FORGET ABOUT IT! People are plain NUTS!!!
d aMemberWith a name like FunnyBunny, of course your the Kallah!!! Mazel Tov!!! May you build a Bayis Ne’eman B’Yisroel!!!!
d aMember51 is waiting!
d aMemberBy the way, a year ago “chunchie” started a thread called, “Ideas For Spare Time in Office?” it has 12 posts. You can see what people said then, by clicking: http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/ideas-for-spare-time-in-office
d aMemberYWCR!!!
d aMembertomim tihye: did you at least put the stuff into a clean bag and allow him/her to get his/her things back? He/She probably had stuff that couldn’t just “be replaced”.
d aMemberCounselor, co-counselor, junior counselor. A great experience and lots of fun. Get onto Youth Corp (pronounced Youth Core) and make sure he is doing it to have a good time with his campers, not just to kill a summer.
d aMemberyour right plaid, but I just joined and haven’t played around with it too much yet. Got only one contact!
d aMemberWhy do we need so many new threads? Why can’t we stay with one General Shmooze thread? Why do we need “Another Shidduchim Thread”? Why can’t we stay with the old ones?
d aMemberMy dear friend, number 48 is softly crying in its bedroom cause noone wants to take it! Can someone please take 48 out of its misery and give it a life?
d aMemberGoogle Wave is a Google product (duh!) which puts together mail, wiki and social networking. You can learn more about it by searching Google!
d aMemberGOOD SHABBOS!!!
d aMemberchesedname: I am not agreeing or disagreeing to ytg’s idea, however, from the way he wrote it, it doesn’t sound like Sedom C”V. In Sedom, “They even had a system to make sure guest were comfortable at night if the feet were too long, they cut them to size, and if too short, they were just stretched a little.” was a rishus.
d aMemberKeep your kids busy next week! Here’s an idea:
Take the lightbox that you check your lettuce with, and place a picture on top of it. Place a clean sheet of scrap paper (does that make sense?) and put it on top of the picture. Now turn on the lighbox (if you didn’t yet!) and trace the picture! Its alot of fun!!! You can use any picture! Start pulling books off the shelves! This can keep your kids entertained for a long time (until they get bored, of course!) Have fun drawing!!!
d aMemberHIE, do you think we can reach 100 by Pesach???
48???
d aMemberWhat browser are you using? Maybe it is not compatible with your browser?
I dont use YWN Radio, I have plenty of music on my computer.
d aMemberI agree with you. They got to find a way to put gmail into Wave (unless we’ll all get rid of gmail and switch all to Wave!!)
d aMemberI respoke to my brother, and he said that today it is accepted that if a boy is in Yeshiva learning, the girl will travel to him EVEN FOR THE FIRST DATE.
d aMemberJothar, welcome to the April Fools Day prank! There is NO such thing as a “YEARLY INTERNET MAINTENANCE” it is a prank done around this time of year because of April 1st.
There is no need to:
1. Disconnect all terminals and LANs from the Internet.
2. Disconnect all Internet servers from the Internet.
3. Refrain from connecting any computer, or any other Internet connection device, to the Internet in any way.
Enjoy your Chol HaMoed typing! (is that muttar? is it considered writing???)
d aMemberbein_hasdorim: you got my go a*head*! If you need help, just ask! I like inventing things.
d aMemberThey both travel. While on the date!!
From what I heard from my brother’s dating experiences, the boy usually travels to the FIRST date. Then the boy, girl, parents and shadchan work things out from there (hopefully!)
d aMember“Click on the number of minutes in the column: “freshness”. This will take you to the most recent post.”
In about 1-2 minutes. Is someone fixing this slow problem???
d aMemberrebbitzen, probably nothing! As you can see (above!) the YWNRadio is not the greatest (yet[?]). Try typing into your browser http://www.ywnradio.com/ If that doesn’t work, then we know its not your fault but YW’s. Hatzlacha!
d aMemberMaybe bein_hasdorim can invent a Hat Helmet after he’s done with his Kosher Lounge?!
d aMemberHow can we allow 9 hours go by without any new numbers taken???
47? Anyone? Someone?
d aMemberIs there a way that we can know when our posts get put onto the CR. Here’s what I mean:
I write this post. I click submit. I see my post on my page. No one else does until it gets moderated. How do I know when everyone else sees my post? (and I don’t mean logging from my CR account). Maybe, the EDIT button can stay on until the post is moderated and then no more EDIT. This way, you solve the problem that Mod 99 said on the “New Moderating System” thread, and also alows us users to know when our posts are posted!
A response would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
d aMemberYanky55: Very nice! Keep em coming!
d aMemberLess then ONE week away!!! Guys, lets load this thread with Torah!
Our seder is too short (3, 4, 5 am…) I need some more Divrei Torah to say!!!
d aMemberpotpie, your Q# 14 makes more sense then Mod 80’s Q!
d aMemberMod 42, why didnt you take 42?
45 going once (well HIE offered it once already!)
45 going TWICE!!!
d aMemberDid everyone lose interest in the CR? Nothing is happening here!!
d aMemberThe Rabbi Rocks/shtarkbocher: I wonder why!!!
d aMembershtarkbocher: I saw it on East 31 and Avenue M. It was very cute!
d aMember80, I wasn’t blaming you. I was letting all oomis1105 and Tums know whats going on. Thanks!
d aMemberI heard a shuir on ??? from Rabbi Dovid Orlofsky and he said the following story:
A family in Eretz Yisroel’s toilet broke Erev Pesach! They franticly tried finding a plumber who would be willing to come to their house and see what can be done. After much searching, they found a plumber. The plumber comes to their hose and says the toilet must be replaced. The plumber went out to see where he can buy a new toilet on Erev Yom Tov (where in Eretz Yisroel everything closes at Chatzos on Erev Yom Tov!) Finally, he returns with a new toilet. He gets into the elevator to go to the apartment. Another person walked into the elevator after him and said, “Another Chumra?”
d aMemberAs our dear Mod 80 said in the “New Moderating System” thread, “The final bug removal and polishing off of the new software might lead to occasional temporary slowdowns over the next few months.” Check out the full story here:

d aMemberAccording to haifagirl, next up is 42. This number is very special. The kedusha and holiness from the number 42 is extremely powerful!
Some people make up so much stories just to get someone to do something! There is no power in the number 42! I just want you to think there is so that maybe you’d think about taking it!!!
Anyways, 42 is next! DO YOU WANT IT???
d aMemberWho cares? What do we do on this awesome, powerful day? Sit around and do math? No thank you! You can enjoy yourselves, but I got better things to do with my life.
Do I? Not really! BUT NOT MATH!!!
d aMemberI think I missed something! What in the world is all this about?
d aMemberThanks 80 (again!)
d aMemberDEADEADEADEADEADEADEADEADEADEADEADEADEADEADEAD
d aMemberI just realized that only I can see my posts immediately. Everyone else sees it after moderation
d aMemberHIE: What number are we up to? 35, 36, 37 or 38?
d aMemberNot only is YW slow, it is also DEAD! C’mon guys, WAKE UP!
d aMember“i’ll offer kapusta as 35
ill take # 36″
Did kapusta take 35? If not, the.nurse can’t take 36 and areivimzehlazeh can’t take 37!
WE WANT A RECOUNT!!!
d aMemberWas wondering what happened to the thread “Bad Jokes started by Yiddeshe Mamma? What was she looking for? Where did the thread go?
d aMemberHashem Is Truly Everywhere: I’m sorry about that mix-up above, Bodek mixed me up.
What about people who use their father’s, son’s, mother’s, daughter’s, husband’s screen name? Can they post twice?
d aMemberThank you Mod 80 for changing my post for me. May you continue to post, edit, delete, change many more posts for many more years! Thanks to the entire YW and YWCR Staff for this EggSalad site!
