I got a name of a soldier in Israel and now feel like my davening is not just for me, but also for the chayal i.e. if my mind wanders and my tefillah is not the way it should be then I’m not just losing out for myself, but I’ll also be letting down “my soldier”. It’s an impetus for my davening to be better.

_|___That’s just the point asdf. You lose salt in sweat and then when you rehydrate with water only, you’re just adding water without salt, thus leaving you at risk for low salt in your blood. This is only an issue on long runs. That’s why all marathoners are rehydrating with electrolyte solutions or they take salt tablets (never do the latter without your doc’s ok).
