I was looking after a few kids, and gave them each a lollipop. We were playing the game “If you went to bed before 7, take 4 licks, if you ate cereal for breakfast, take one lick” etc. On of the girls said, “If you drank beer today, take 7 licks.” Being that these kids are about 6/7, I made an assumption and said “Ruti, no-one here drank beer.”
“Yes, I did!” she said. Then, “Oh, wait. I’m getting confused with apple juice.” 😀 (Now that made sense.)

I know people who play flute, piano (which is not even remotely similar to keyboard) cello, saxophone, harp, violin, electric guitar (don’t know if that’s what you meant by guitar), piano accordion…..

Comlink – Of course women don’t generally make havdala. The man does. And the kids fight over who gets to hold the candle, who held it last week, and at which point in Havdala they should switch over holding the candle because no-one can agree on who exactly held it last week.

I love the one about however high you hold your havdala candle, that’s how tall your husband will be (without his hat) :D. Also, what’s with “If you sit at the corner of the table, you won’t get married for seven years”? And why won’t people pass babies over the table?
