The Rambam can be interpreted as referring to their actual state at that time, not to an innate tendency.
(And I assume no one’s going to argue that they’re all tipshim.)☢️ Rand0m3x 🎲ParticipantHow do you know that?

There are many others it would probably be pleasant to meet,

I assume you mean me, in which case that’s not true.

but I don’t know who it isSo you know there’s a creepy guy who’s on the CR,
but not what name they use?How come no one wants to meet the mods?
Maybe it’s just that that wasn’t the question.
I introduced myself, and they were gobsmacked.
Did they want proof of your identity?
I’m very insulted. No one wants to meet me
Hey, I tried, didn’t I? (No one seems interested in me either.)

☢️ Rand0m3x 🎲ParticipantApples to Apples is a party game, while Ticket to Ride is a light strategy game – they probably shouldn’t

☢️ Rand0m3x 🎲Participantone of the biggest issues I have [with K9] is that it’s very hard to really fine tune it within a category. For example, they lump “streaming video and MP3” together. So it will block YouTube and Spotify, the latter of which I like and use.
You can add an exception to allow (or not allow) a specific site regardless of category.
I’ve said this before here. I broke through k9 as a kid and so did many of my friends. If you have kids, GET SOMETHING ELSE. That said, as an adult who won’t spend 15-40 minutes breaking it, it’s really good and nice. You can get certain sites whitelisted.
I’m sure she didn’t figure out how to do that herself, but rather found instructions online. You can block
the computer/hacking categories, and go through Google and blacklist any unblocked sites you find.☢️ Rand0m3x 🎲ParticipantThis thread (and others) have shown up on the front page with no new posts.

Post turtle is a phrase that has been used in political discussion of various countries,
including the U.S. and Canada, based on an old joke. The joke:
An old rancher is talking about politics with a young man from the city. He compares a politician to a “post turtle”. The young man doesn’t understand and asks him what a post turtle is.
The old man says, “When you’re driving down a country road and you see a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that’s a post turtle. You know he didn’t get up there by himself. He doesn’t belong there; you wonder who put him there; he can’t get anything done while he’s up there; and you just want to help the poor, dumb thing down.”

Please explain the reasoning behind this idea.
