blinky- i tried to sniff out as many of you as I could while I was there….didn’t get very far!
blinky- thanks for sticking up for me! For all you know, WIY, a guy asked me something and I turned red because I was so embarrassed that a guy spoke to me….LOL
WIY- I DO NOT talk to boys ever ever ever….I happened to have been at a “concert” for some special children yesterday where Avraham Fried came and sang for them and I was there along with a bunch of “chassidishe” guys who also came to sing and dance (and just hang out). Just asking if you are one of those guys….or anyone else that is here was at that party….
WIY- do you live in BP? I was in BP yesterday and I met a bunch of guys and all I kept thinking that I have no doubt that one of them was a poster here who I “spoke” to a million times but would never know about! One guy even said to me that I look so familiar and I was thinking “maybe you know me from the coffee room but otherwise I never saw you in my life!”
WIY- thanks for the encouragement! As far as looks go, I am definitely not ugly but I am not one of those girls who a guy would pass and say wow she is stunning! But who cares I just need my husband to think I am pretty and yes with the right makeup I do manage to look “good” every time I leave my house….
As far as money is concerned, I am not from a wealthy family but my parents are planning on supporting and they are able to baruch hashem!
As far as being chilled, I do try my best and I succeed many times but not to the extent that I consider myself a chilled person. If you would know how many times I held my tongue and don’t say things to my siblings because I know that my kids and husband don’t want someone to always tell them to pick up the toys, go daven shachris, clean up his bed….etc.
Don’t parents want their daughters to save some of their money that they are making when they are single for when they get married? Especially if the guy is learning….
It sounds like if a girl does not have an easy-going and chilled personality, she is doomed and no one is going to want to marry her. If that is the case, I feel very bad for myself! I am not the very chilled type….it does not come naturally to me and although it is something that I work very hard on I have not completely changed as that is nearly impossible.
Also, in regard to the discussion about Yichus- I think we see the exact opposite from the Avos. Although they did marry the children on ovdai avodah zora, Yitzchok was careful when sending Eliezer to find a wife that she NOT be from the “low” end of society and she should be from any nation except Cenani….(I have no idea how to spell this….sorry)
So please explain what you mean when you say that guys out there only want chilled girls. If I work on my middos and try my best to be easy going does that mean it’s still not enough? And no I am not pretty or rich so for sure no one is going to want me????
I guess no one would know who I am because I do not live in BP or work in an office there or anything else….Oh well! I am gonna be there on Sun so maybe if i spot BPT or Sac or blinky I will finally be able to be part of “the in crowd”….
hashemsprincess and I are very good friends and she spotted me in one second! after my first post she called me up to double check that i am “coke”….. BPT- where are you taking BP Mommy and the kids this week?
i do not get texts on my cell so if you sent me something then you are just going to have to call me if you think you know who i am! but i highly doubt you know me!

I highly doubt anyone can figure me out- except for one friend who called me after my first post and figured out who I was. I would tell you who she is but have to ask her first. Then you guys can tell me if we are similar and fit into the same category! I highly doubt anyone else knows who I am (i have some friends who know my usename but they never go online so they wouldn’t know!)
there is an amazing book out there on emunah and bitachon called “the garden of emunah” by rabbi arush. try it- it changed the way i thought about everything in life.
What changed from when you were in high school until now?

BPT- you are very original that you even thought of this one! I like this idea but not the same-gender part of it! I want to be on the bus with you and and doc…. I think that one will have a combination of the best food and the most entertainment. Keep me posted about when we are leaving. I just need a few days notice so I can let my boss know!
Sac- no it’s a cake. It is not frozen. I call it fluff bars…..
yes- i have a recipe for a heaven cake that has a chocolate cake on the bottom and then a thin layer of marshmallow fluff and then a heaven chocolate rice krispies crunch- tastes like cliks.
BPT- put me on any bus that you wish, but count me in! I would chose the bus that you and Dr. Pepper are on!
I think if you knew what she did for me you would realize how this is just a tiny way to show her that I care about her and want to be nice! She is one of those extra-special friends.
No! she is a regular normal girl who comes from a very normal and regular home but her mother works full time and does not get a chance to make potato kugel. Last night when I made mine I thought that it would mean a lot to her to taste the real thing-not the fake stuff from a take-out! How can you compare? So yes I made her the kugel but she didn’t want to eat it because she can’t eat so many carbs or her mother will start telling her she is getting fat. I will get the recipe and give it to you some other time.
hashemsprincess- cute that you ask! I just made potato kugel for a friend of mine. This would be really funny if I know who you are and if I am related to BPT too as suggested earlier.

BPT- I can not believe you that you are not Chassidish at all. I am sure that even if I never saw you, I have seen a million of the same type. I still believe that you are heimish…..or have that stuff in your blood. If not, then your friends are probably close to that…..Do you wear a shtreimel on shab? That is a good way to start figuring this out.
WIY- I think he is! I am actually positive that he is! I think if I met him I would know it’s him in a second.
Shimmel- what makes you say that? I have no way of knowing until he sums me up, if he can even figure me out!

I like the fact that no one knows who I am (except that BPT can more or less figure out who I am and which category I fit into). It’s also something to do when your boss walks out! LOL
