Still no one?
chulinParticipantI’ve heard chassidim are moving into Linden.
chulinParticipantCertainly it’s important to have a rav or someone trusting to be able to go to resolve or prevent conflicts. However, not everything rises to the level of needing to go to or call that person. That can be time consuming or emotionally draining. Sometimes a person would like to ask a question easily and anonymously.
chulinParticipantI have no idea how that boar emoji got there. I’m typing from a laptop, I can’t even use emojis.
chulinParticipantI’m from the boro park/ flatbush center of the universe, and all my friends and relatives did vorts. So it’s the first time I’m hearing of not doing it. Interesting.
chulinParticipantAll over boro park there are large posters proclaiming rabbis have forbidden women from walking outdoors in ‘robes’. Those long one piece dresses that every chasidish women wears outside. Was good forever and suddenly isn’t good anymore. Who are these people, who are they to decide for the rest of us, and who is paying for all those posters?
chulinParticipantI understand that. But there surely are general questions as well.
