I squeeze fresh lemons to a half cup. It comes out to about 2 lemons.
Not sure if it is the same recipe but it is definitely very similar
3 cups grape juice
3 cups water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
Boil the water to dissolve the sugar, mix the rest of the ingredients. Freeze. When it is partly frozen blend then refreeze.
No one said anything about cheese cake, my advice for that is don’t tamper with it, your results will just be a waste of calories.
i first started using it for a whole wheat recipe that called for a few T. of of oil, cant Guarantee the results but you could try substiteing just 1/2 and see how it is

When baking something try using apple sauce instead of oil it usually comes out tasting just the same. Never tried substituting it for margarine but you can use trans fat free margarine for a healthier version.
