July 24, 2017 10:14 am at 10:14 am in reply to: APPALLING: Chareidi Boy -Israel Wrong For Putting Metal Detectors On Har Habayis #1324382ChaverParticipantHe says that metal detectors are not effective. As far as I know metal detectors beep when you walk through with weapons. It seems to me to be a good way of stopping people with weapons.
Furthermore he claims that when 200,000 people want to go up to Har Habayis in an hour the challenge of putting everyone through the detectors is to great. When do 200,000 people need to go up in an hour? And even if they do it is possible to put many metal detectors.ChaverParticipantsefardi guy I agree that some sefardi food is amazing but cholent is for sure better then chamin. I tasted chamin a few times and it doesn’t come close to cholent!!
ChaverParticipantSorry, it was a typing error.

On Shabbos things that are Pikuach Nefesh are done.
About age, if I remember correctly the Torah says 20.
There will always be people davening and learning for the success of the army. The actual day to day army schedule would probably be like any other army; training, surveillance, etc;.
July 18, 2017 9:01 am at 9:01 am in reply to: Out of the box ideas to solve the shidduch crisis 🚫🥊👰🤵 #1319526ChaverParticipantMaybe men can start taking 2 wives, that will also help the shidduch crisis.
ChaverParticipantI have a relative who is a doctor and he doesn’t work on Shabbos and never did.
ChaverParticipantAY: but know that there is not even one Talmid Chochom alive today that advocates that position.
Are you implying that Joseph is not a Talmid Chochom?I think an army based on Torah would look almost like any other army.
ChaverParticipant1. Ask them how the weather is.

June 27, 2017 1:06 pm at 1:06 pm in reply to: For anyone who can give health advice to a younger generation… #1305026ChaverParticipantI had a roommate in Yeshiva who smoked. He stopped smoking for a few months and during those few months his behavior turned around, he was much nicer to be around and much calmer. That doesn’t prove that physical problems are nurture but emotional issues it sure does.
ChaverParticipantI think that Litzman will gladly let Shaarei Zzedek open a new ward but he won’t give them funding from the state. It might not be worth it for Shaarei Tzedek to open a new ward without government backing.
June 22, 2017 12:03 pm at 12:03 pm in reply to: Switching to the metric system is a bad idea #1302403ChaverParticipantThe metric system rocks!!
ChaverParticipantDo you make Shabbos Mevarchim before the beginning of a goyish month?
ChaverParticipantWhy do you celebrate her goyish birthday?
ChaverParticipantI think they should give it out to the people. Or they could sell it the highest bidder. There is no reason to through out perfectly good cocaine. that would be Ba’al Tashchis!!
ChaverParticipantDo you have to give someone a birthday present on their half birthday? or maybe half a present.
ChaverParticipantlightbrite which would you use?
And would the answer be the same if you were plastic

June 12, 2017 12:25 pm at 12:25 pm in reply to: Israeli toothpaste for sensitive teeth directions #1293417ChaverParticipantlightbrite the toothpaste in Israel does not say any amount. Dentists today recommend to use pea size amounts.
ready now. why did you decide that fluoride is poisonous?
ChaverParticipant1. Hang up or walk away
2. Explain to the salesman why his product or service is no good.
3. Buy the service anyway.
4. Ask him to please convince me some more.ChaverParticipantYou are right. You really have a problem then.
If your problem is what the season is called then just change the name of all the seasons to winter.ChaverParticipantI think we should call them Gentlemen Bugs or Gentlemen Beetles. Calling the bugs ladies is very degrading. If I was a women my feelings would be hurt.
ChaverParticipantCaves are cool all year round and you won’t get sunburned. mosquitos there might be so bring one of those nets that people put around their tents.
Another plus about a cave is that you don’t have to pay any kind of taxes to the city.ChaverParticipantRebYidd23 it seems to me that you learned how to write.

ChaverParticipantSure you can live in winter, that is what air conditioners are for.
ChaverParticipantWhat about if someone learns Torah in an office? Is he considered a Kollel man or a working man?
ChaverParticipantWhat is the difference where the embassy is? Why does anybody care what the world thinks about Yerushalayim? Any Jew can go live there without any difficulty.
ChaverParticipantThe old sites font was bolder which made it easier to see and the colors in the pictures were sharper. I really miss the old site!!
ChaverParticipantYou can download on your computer Bluestacks which allows you to run on your computer Android apps. I think it also works with apps that need a phone number. you can probably use you kosher number.

מעשה אבות סימן לבניםChaverParticipantlightbrite, how do you think of such strange, random questions?
ChaverParticipantThe most annoying thing about Cortana is that you can’t get her out. At least a person I could call the police to remove from my house!
ChaverParticipantLeibik yankel where did you hear that computers at home are okay? In the article it says that the Rabbonim want to distance the Talmidim from technology so they banned technology from the Yeshiva where the Talmidim are. That does not imply that when the Talmidim go home once a month or so they should have computers.
