Correct. He is the Donald Trump of the frum world and makes as much sense.

Jews never were the majority in Brooklyn. Jews were almost a majority in the Bronx, though.

“The non jewish world has no morals.”

We should clean up our own act before whining about others. Or are bribery, influence peddling, kickbacks, and covering up child abuse moral?

“not privatize all of the pools and beaches? “

You can privatize all the pools, although it isn’t clear how private agencies could afford to run them. The beaches, however, are federal property up to the mean high tide level and many of the beaches in the NY area are federal National Recreation Area or National Seashore property.

It might be possible to have separate sex areas, though. There are some areas that are set aside for public nudity in the federal beaches, with warning signs for those who might object.

I wonder what Walker’s quid pro quo was. He was one of the most corrupt mayors in American history and was removed from office in mid 1932 by Franklin Roosevelt as a result.

Well I push back against the immediate blame-the-victim mentality of people like you!

You completed the investigation, served as a grand jury to indict him for a death penalty offense, served as a trial jury to try him and convict him, and approved a death penalty.

Precisely. And they should be kept unless there is good reason not to keep them. Including kitniyot, bicycles and umbrellas. Just don’t pretend that this is something that it isn’t.

” Mr. Weiss just ignores halacha”

    He is *Rabbi* Weiss.

And the person who ignores halachah is you. (Motzi shem ra.) Even Rabbi Steven Pruzansky, a huge opponent of Rabbi Weiss, agreed that Rabbi Weiss is a fully observant Jew.

The truth is that there is no explicit issur, even derabbanan, for either umbrellas or bicycles if you are in an eruv (or if it is Yom Tov). I challenge anyone to prove otherwise, stating which deoraita or derabbanan is violated. It is just that in most communities we don’t use either. That isn’t a problem, either; we just should be honest about things.

The UK contribution to the EU budget last year was approximately 13 billion pounds. The UK GDP is approximately 2.8 trillion dollars. It dropped in a single day by 10% because of the crash of the pound. So to save 13 billion pounds the voters decided to penalize themselves by 280 billion pounds.

It is clearly true that bad people can make good art. Richard Wagner was the leading anti-Semite of his generation. D. W. Griffith made racist films and Leni Riefenstahl made propaganda films for Hitler. Elisabeth Schwarzkopf was a membr of the Nazi Party. Bertolt Brecht defected to East Germany. Picasso was a member of the French Communist Party and Pete Seeger was (for a while) a member of the Communist Party USA. I am sure that others can come up with other examples.

“Trump’s principle is What Is Good For Trump.”

As the result of the Brexit vote, two trillion dollars of wealth in the world disappeared overnight as securities markets crashed. The collapse in the UK’s currency immediately made France, and not the UK, the second largest economy in Europe.

But Trump was ecstatic that his golf course in Scotland might finally make money.

Media reports are that George Soros also made money through the right hedges on Brexit.

So Trump is just like Soros, putting his own interests first and making money off the misery of millions.

France is now a wealthier country than the UK.

And the UK won’t exist at all in a few years. Scotland will certainly leave the UK and Northern Ireland probably will, too. England will become an economically depressed country with high unemployment and no outlet for its products, services, or people. This is a massive self-inflicted economic wound.
