It is important to respect other sects of Klal Yisroel even if they may have different views than you. The more we criticize other Jews the further we are away from Moshiach. Although the Rebbe and the Rav had different views they both respected each other and they both learmed form one another.

It is such a shame to see people post Lashon Hara about Chabad and other Jews. It is not your job to tell people what to do. It is not your job to judge them.

The ones with the yellow flags with the corns are a minority and do not represent the organization. These people misrepresent the core values of Chabad. The following is a statement form the central Chabad Headquarters:
“Belief in the coming of Moshiach and awaiting his imminent arrival is a basic tenet of the Jewish faith. It is clear, however, that conjecture as to the possible identity of Moshiach is not part of the basic tenet of Judaism. The preoccupation with identifying the Rebbe (zatza”l) as Moshiach is clearly contrary to the Rebbe’s wishes. Together with the whole of Klal Yisrael we pray for the fulfillment of our collective yearning for Moshiach, in the spirit of the timeless Jewish declaration: “I await his (Moshiach’s) coming each and every day”

Not eating before davening is minhag, not Halacha. The Rambam holds that if one is hungry and can’t concentrate on prayer they should eat before they daven. Chabad does learn Gemara. The Lubavitcher Rebbe encouraged men and women to learn Gemara. According Sukkah 25b to Sleeping in the Sukkah is not required if it makes one uncomfortable. Chabad does not believe the Rebbe would come back to life as Machiach. The Rebbe was against people who made such claims.

I have been attending a Chabad Shul for many years and I have never seen any Chabadnick personally say that the 7th Rebbe would come back to life and be Mashiach. Even the Lubavitcher Rebbe himself denounced such claims. Chabad does not believe that the Lubavitcher Rebbe is Machiach. This is a common misconception about Chabad.
