WOW, You guys are great!! Keep this going..I want to read more!
BYgirlMemberRabbi Feder knew by the look on Shmuel’s face that it was going to be a late night. The Rebbitzen brought the Rav his Tea and then closed the door gently. The clocked ticked and ticked until it read 1:40 AM. By that time Shmuel had felt a whole lot better and the Rav felt confidant that Shmuel had finally understood the importance of his message. The outcome would be difficult yet it would richly pay off in the end. But how was he to break it to his wife Chani and most importantly to Rivky herself?
BYgirlMemberAnnouncing the engagement lgbg iy”H..I spoke to your sister yesterday, Sounds like things are moving along pretty smoothly :)keep me posted!
BYgirlMemberI am a proud graduated of BY 🙂
BYgirlMemberI would also like to know more details like what exactly R’Elyashiv meant. I feel like it was just put out there with little or no explanation, why now? What exactly is the alternative???
BYgirlMemberOkay, I have two ideas. The first is simple and pretty. just a regular cookie recipe and dip half in chocolate and it looks nice. The second is Linzer cookies. I just made it for my friend and it was easy and came out nice. you make two cookies heart shaped, the top has a hole..you fill it with jelly so that when you put the top heart on, with the hole you see the Jelly. You then put confectionery sugar on top..I am sure you have seen them before. Good Luck…let me know if you want the recipe, Mazel Tov!
BYgirlMemberThanks you YW Moderator, please put a topic on the table and we will take it from there.
BYgirlMemberjewishfeminist02:
you are way out of line,
First of all, I will begin with quoting you. “Red is an eye-catching color, but there’s nothing wrong with men noticing women”. There is nothing wrong with men “noticing” women but there is something wrong with women wearing a color that is found to be enticing to men. Yes, red is known to be an enticing color. Yes, or course you should be pretty and attractive but do you think that a Bas Yisroel should dress in a way that is attracting men? And, by the way, I wouldn’t be proud of the story about your mother. I am not really understanding your point there..do you think that what she did was cute? I don’t think so..
BYgirlMemberRealist…great joke!

BYgirlMemberIt must be nice to look like an Oreo cookie
BYgirlMemberThanks lgbg
BYgirlMemberWOW,lgbg, all I can say is thatI am highly unimpressed with what you wrote. That would even be an understatement, I am embarrassed.I do not know you, what you look like or how you choose to represent yourself but I do know that from what I have learned from my teachers, what you wrote is completely incorrect. To just be quite would be as if I agree, I therefore feel compelled to respond. I suggest that you go back to this rebbitzen of yours and speak it out. When you say as tight as you want are you just referring to the sleeves or the entire body. Lets say that the pencil skirt, belt, and fitted sleeves are all sensitivities. Not osur but sensitivities. Does that mean that there is NOTHING wrong with it?
BYgirlMemberOkay, this is the way it goes. Although judging someone is unfair, the way that one perceives another is through who he actually is. Everybody thinks that they are mainstream, that they are normal. Therefore, if someone is not like them, they are not normal. Think in you mind of people who you think are strange. In which way are they different than you and in which way are they the same. I can guarantee you that they are are different than you in many more ways. I hope I clarified a couple of points.
BYgirlMemberThank You! you have truly inspired me!
