    multi-part question coming up.

Who will win the Clemson – Florida State showdown, and will the winner be able to pass Bama or Oregon in the polls? Will the winner win the ACC? Will this game be better than the ACC title game? The BCS championship?

I expect answers from a person who “knows everything”.

I am not looking for answers that rag on sports. I want real opinion answers that have some basis to them.

I realize I sound like a teacher. Too bad. Begin the answering!

A few great quotes to brighten your day!

“Men kick friendship around like a football, but it doesn’t seem to crack. Women treat it like glass and it goes to pieces.”

    Anne Morrow Lindbergh

“I always wake up at the crack of ice.”

    Joe E. Lewis

“A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.”

    Steve Martin

“All right everyone, line up alphabetically according to your height.”

    Casey Stengel

“I drank some boiling water because I wanted to whistle.”

    Mitch Hedberg

“I failed to make the chess team because of my height.”

Also, I don’t think it would be batampte for my daughter to go to a out of town, slow moving seminary with girls who are so comfortable and friendly that they have no standards.

    Way to generalize!

I would advise Machon Mayan or Michlelet Esther

I came out a bit too harsh. Just from personal experience, none of my relatives are religious and I had to “miss” my cousin’s marriage because they guy she married wasn’t a Jew.

The message I posted was sort of what I was told by my Rebbi. It still is awkward every time I see her. So I sort of know where you are coming from. Except my relatives way of dress doesn’t bother me too much.

And if I understand correctly your relatives look down on the orthodox way of life. That is tough. Only thing I can say to that is do your part by being nice and friendly and in the end they may reciprocate. Its not much but toughen your interior.

I see my post was blocked so I’ll tell you the part that was probably kosher, that you should check up on the university. Usa today does some rankings and breaks down class sizes and gender ratio.

I love playing Axis and Allies, one of the greatest games, but Monopoly is always played.

I used to play Munchkin but the game grew too frustrating, when people stared to figure out loopholes and technicalities.

I also have memories of playing texas hold em poker. We had chips but never played for money. Looking back it probably was not the most appropriate game for Shabbos but we were 12-13 and didn’t know any better.

Do the Cubbie diet/ workout plan! For every consecutive season the cubs don’t have a world series victory do that many push ups, squats, pull ups, and after all that run for the same number of minutes alternating between sprinting and jogging every 5 minutes.

The dieting part is to have a solid diet of turkey, salad, and tears.

It has mostly women. Most of the class sizes are smaller. Shouldn’t be such a bad place for a single Jewish girl. It officially is Roman Catholic.

I can’t help you with the second part except tell you to do what is best for you and don’t care what other people think about you. You will meet the person you are intended for either way, so you might as well not let social pressures stress you out.

Well, it would’ve been, could’ve been worse than you would ever know.

Oh, the dashboard melted, but we still have the radio.

Oh, it should’ve been, could’ve been worse than you would ever know.

Well, you told me about nowhere well it sounds like someplace I’d like to go.

Oh, it could’ve been, should’ve been worse than you would ever know.

Well, the windshield was broken but I love the fresh air you know.

(The dashboard melted but we still have the radio)

Oh, it would’ve been, could’ve been worse than you would ever know, oh!

(The dashboard melted but we still have the radio)

Oh, we talked about nothing which was more than I wanted you to know-oh-oh-oh-oh.

    Now here we go!

Oh! It would’ve been, could’ve been worse than it had even gone

Well, the car was on blocks, but I was already where I want.

(It was impossible, we ran it good, we ran it good)

Why should we ever even ever really even get to know?

(It was impossible, we ran it good, we ran it good)

Oh if the world don’t like us it’ll shake us just like we were a co-oh-oh-oh-old.

    Now here we go!

Well we scheme and we scheme but we always blow it

We’ve yet to crash, but we still might as well tow it

Standing at a light switch to each east and west horizon,

    Every dawn you’re surprising,

and in the evening one’s consoling

Saying “See it wasn’t quite as bad as”

Well, it would’ve been, could’ve been worse than you would ever know.

I was patiently erasing and recording the wrong episodes

After you had proved my point wrong,

    It wasn’t like I’d let it go, oh-oh-oh. Oh-oh-oh.

I just wanted to catch the last laugh of this show.

Yeah, it would’ve been, could’ve been worse than you would ever know.

Oh, the dashboard melted, but we still have the radio.

(The dashboard melted, but we ran it good, we ran it good)

Hard-wired to conceive, so much we’d have to stow it

Even needs have needs, tiny giants made of tinier giants.

Don’t wear eyelids so I don’t miss the last laugh of this show.

(The dashboard melted but we still have the radio)

Oh, we could’ve been, should’ve been worse than you would ever know.

Sandy Koufax was not the first great Jewish ballplayer. Hank Greenberg also refused to play on Yom Kippur in 1934 when the Tigers were in the middle of a pennant race. He was also beloved by that generation of Jews.

Love how the weather is getting colder. Speaking of weather, did anyone notice how Mexico is getting hit by 2 named storms? As of now they are Hurricane Ingrid and Tropical Depression Manuel. They are on different sides of mexico but are almost opposite of each other, north of Mexico City. Just wanted to point that out.

Tein Le Chow — great Chinese place in Chicago but its takeout Taboon grill is also very good.

Shallots (high-endish place) was always too expensive for me, but they make an amazing pineapple burger, the other food there is also excellent. (What you went to shallots to get a burger??? Yea I did because it was the only place open and I just came in on a flight.)

I think you might be confusing hallacha with appropriate behavior. I never heard of anyone assuring talking to girls(of any type), but I did that it is not a thing a ben torah does. (obviously not including shidduchim)

I don’t see a big problem with talking to them. It helps families get together. I personally don’t talk much to my female cousin, but that is for completely different reasons.

You might as well try to find out their number and ask them. But since it’s torah I would guess that neither of the organizations would object if you do the free hour with both.

Also if you are interested in torah study you should try to contact a local synagog/kollel and see if they have a similar program. I think chabbad also has a program like Partners in Torah and Jnet.org.
