After reading this screed, I am having trouble trying to understand who this unstable person is. Obviously very radical and thinks that his opinion is the one that Klal Yisroel should listen to. Wonder why he thinks he is Daas Torah… Does he have more credentials than people committed to Chochmas Hatorah, Ahavas Yisroel, and Middos Yovos? Those that have dedicated their lives to the Rotzon Hashem and have therefore been accepted as peers by Gedolei Yisroel of the last generation. Those that are looked up to by the biggest Talmidei Chachomim, and by the largest dedicated Torah communities around today? What are the credentials of CW? In any case the framing of Shidduch Resumes as a chiyuv that came from Torah leadership rather than a cultural innovation to make basic contact keeping information simpler in a digital age, is disingenuous. Seems like these screeds are built using falsehoods on top of falsehoods and the guy absolutely deserves the negativity and lack of acceptance that I see here.

B’H – Female babies will now have the right to choose their own life – not have some male or female determine what happens to their body. Rights of baby women B’H have been restored. Kol Hakoved. The gruesome murder, in most cases unwarranted according to the 7 mitzvos that apply to non-Jews and certainly to Jewish people – will now stop. Hopefully, we will move back to a culture of life and only allow squeezing the life out of a baby for extraordinary permitted circumstances according to the Torah.

I personally spoke to a mainstream popular Beis Yaakov educator in the NY area. I was advised to absolutely avoid it – as there are many many issues. Sorry but I was not given permission to give out her name but the advice I received again, was that even the “Frum” birthright trips are problematic.

Joseph, I am not going to get into disagreements with you especially when you clearly have no issues distorting history. I was simply stating basic history that everyone knows to be true. You have followed up with the following distortions that in my eyes simply seem to be inaccurate (hopefully not on purpose). I will not follow up on your rejoinder as I have no interest in the back and forth, but will leave it at pointing out your distortions and let others make decisions as they see fit. 1. It is simply not true that Reb Shmuel was considered at the level of R’ Aharon Leib. 2. Many of the Gedolim I mentioned are not alive. I was pointing out the primary mesorah that took us to to this point. Your pointing out that R’ Aharon Leib is not alive is irrelevant. Was is relevant is that Reb Ahron Leib considered R’ Chaim to the the primary mesorah – you can disagree with this – and I can’t show you a paper that proves it but anybody that watched Gedolim for the last 15 years can attest to this. Any other insinuation is simply a dishonest distortion of history. 3. Your comment throwing out names supposedly supporting R’ Shmuel’s shitos are without merit. For example someone saying that we have act with Derech Eretz to R’ Shmuel does not provide support for his shitos. I also say we have to have derech eretz to R’ Shmuel (of course!) despite pointing out that Gedolei Yirsroel, Rosh Yeshivos, and Talmidei Chachomim from this generation and last unanimously accept R’ Chaim as the leader of this generation (even Rav Schach sent all kinds of questions to R’ Chaim and always wanted his opinions etc so many years ago). So your throwing out names is precisely what I was referring to that those desperate to promote Peleg (maybe because they some from Satmar or other similar backgrounds) are unfortunately willing to throw out names of Rosh Yeshiva that they claim support Peleg – without merit. This is simply dishonest and Klal Yisroel is smarter than that. This is what “single agenda” torah hashkofos lead to – willing to break up Achdus in Klal Yisroel to promote a particular version of anti-zionism. Is this really worth it for you. Is your particular anti-zionism version (and how to handle Zionism) your only interest that you want to promote? Are you willing to take successful united yeshivas and attempt to break them up so that YOUR version of anti-zionism get’s more adherents. What about the damage you cause?

Note that I know I am not privy to every detail but most of this is clear. Even the fact that they felt a need to break out their own media shows that they are a breakoff and not following the mainstream. They have very little leadership and support. They are unfortunately loud due to their nature of protesting in the streets vs staying in the Beis Medrash like the vast majority of bochorim. Note also that many bochorim in the street are just not the biggest learner’s or need a break and are not affiliated with Peleg. It was similar when you only had the Satmar and similar protests years ago. Just now it’s harder to tell them apart. Note also that I gave seen a strong tendency of Peleg supporters attempt to show support from Rabbonim and Roshei Yeshiva without basis.

All I know is as follows: R Shmuel is no longer alive. The primary mesorah has been The Steipler, R Shach, R Elyashiv, R Shlomo Zalman, Reb Aryeh Leib, Reb Chaim etc. This was the primary chain according to everyone up to the Advent of Peleg. R Shmuel was a very big Talmid Chochom but was not considered as primary in this chain. At some point in the last couple of years Peleg took on shitos that were not in sync with the primary mesorah of Gedolei Yisroel of the litvishe world. These group may have been talmidim of R Shmuel, in which case it makes sense that they follow him. Others have joined them, either breaking way from primary mesorah or they already had affiliation with other groups like Satmar and similar shitos. I don’t include Brisk because the brisker ruv always gave honor to the Gedolei Yisroel. It also included those that just want to have fun in the streets. That existed in my day too but at that time it was only Satmat, Toldos Aaron, and Neturei Karta types that they can join. In any case right now R Shmuel is no longer alive. It would make sense that his talmidim will rejoin the mainstream. However Satmar and other groups are thrilled to try to pull these groups closer to their shitos even though that was never R Shmuel’s intention. In any case there is no excuse for the horrible chutzpah against prominent American Roshei Yeshiva, who to the best of my knowledge never clearly supported Peleg anyway. Lehovin should not be allowed into a normal Yeshiva house because they disregard the primary mesorah and spread chutzpah to the mainstream Gedolei Yisroel. I would not let it in my house, I doubt R Shmuel would support it (I’m sure the editors disagree with that statement). I would even rip it up or otherwise destroy it. Bringing it into your house teaches your children and yourself that you don’t have to follow Torah leadership that has been supported and established by the Gedolei Yisroel of the last generation and the vast majority of talidei chachomin, Rabbonim, and the lay people today.

Unfortunately many in this country, did not care about the well being of the country and used Trump’s weaknesses and soft spots to attack him. They did not give him a quiet day. They did not give him credit for his achievements. They mocked him, and every word he said and everything he did. They brought constant legal challenges against him. The set prosecutors up to find faults which they can find in anyone. Then they say look at all the controversy etc and how he behaves and say how can we reelect him. They purposely play to his obvious weaknesses and then they attack him for the weaknesses. I think his policies show that he is a very well meaning man. He is very sensitive. Yes, that’s not a great thing for a man in politics but is the alternative better? The lies, the vieled anti semitism, anti Israel, anti religious values of others? Nobody enjoys a splintered nation but who caused it? Are we going to reward them for it. I’d love to see more civility in govt again but should we reward those that acted with terrible incivility?

Silly comments. Everyone is fighting this and we have to do it smartly and with Achdus. If it makes someone happy about who was first or second there is already an Achdus issue. This is a critical issue effecting all frum yeshivos. We need to work together and daven together to win this major issue and we will!

Re ubiquitin, What a horrible, misguided, disgusting comment. Your true colors show. Total lack of respect to our own leaders and greatest minds of Torah and full obedient respect to the law of the nation’s that of course only mean our best and love us. Studying some history and actually getting to know Torah scholars may help you. Or of course, you can continue blindfolded forever…

Once he was in the hospital Boruch had another scare. Apparently there was a minority group of conspiracy theorists that did not take measels vaccines causing an outbreak of the measels. Luckily Boruch was properly immunized, however his exploding hand and conversion to nothingness turned him eliminated the vaccines protection. Boruch was in a quandry, stay in the hospital and risk the measels or leave and be left in aa state of meaningless nothingness.

Stop with your gibberish ready. You don’t need to scour the internet for official sounding anti vaccine reports. It does not impress us at all. All the doctors, who actually understand medicine, have much more sound basis for their unanimous support of vaccines. All letters from Gedolei Yisroel, and now R’ Aaron Schechter Shlita as well, state that we must all vaccinate. I hear Novaminsk will not accept unvaccinated bochorim. So please stop trying to confuse people. You no longer have a chezkas kashrus.

The poster that calls himself/herslef GadalHadorah suddenly is okay with breaking secular laws. Seems like secular law and “dina dimalchusa” does not matter when an opportunity arises to attack a frum communal organization. Thanks for showing us what you are made of. We knew it but now you make it clear. We will remember this next time you talk about the “law”.

Exposure to the world in a controlled way is a fallacy. We all have temptations and the more we are exposed to the world’s ocean of temptations, the more it pulls us. It does not stop us from wanting more. That is the very nature of worldly temptations.

Over and out. I have no further comments but stand by my points that we follow our poskim, most of whom do NOT wear techeilis. Any arguments that we should each go our own way and decide on our own to establish a lost mesorah without guidance from most poskim does not make any sense to me. It seems that the overly vocal pro techeilis people on this thread seem to feel that this defines their yiddishkeit. It’s okay for them to wear techeilis but I am astounded on how they are jumping on anyone that disagrees with their minority unproven opinion that is not followed by most poskim. I am done, I usually try not to come back and reiterate my opinions more then once but in this case I made an exception. Over and out… Good Luck to all…

Following Gedolei Yisroel, Mesorah, etc did not stop when the shulchan orech was codified. Following poskim and Gedolei Yisroel is a core Torah principle. It is core Halacha. Our primary mesorah did not change from human to printed sefarim. The printed sefarim are used by the poskim as sources for them to understand the Torah along with what they know from their Rebbeim and the enormous time they spend learning Torah. Therefore simplistic Torah from fakemaven are meaningless to those who follow the Torah, which is defined by the understanding of poskim and Gedolei Yisroel in each generation. Therefore most of do NOT wear techeilis, since the vast majority of poskim do not. It’s that simple. Unless you consider Fakemaven a posek but I did not see him posting credentials and do not know anyone that follows his non-psak. Klal Yisroel is smarter then these shenanigans and the more rabble rousers argue why we should wear techeilis, the more we are convinced that the arguments are not based on yiras shomayim and should be ignored. So keep digging your own hole…

TheFakeMaven, until you either convince me that I should listen to you rather then most poskim (doubtful that you can succeed in that!) I and my children will continue assuming that Almighty Hashem does not expect us to be smarter then most poskim.

I be guess the question is why a company that produces techeilis feels the need to reach out to all of us, rather then allowing us to simply follow the guidance and the behavior of Gedolei Yisroel and rabbonim. I understand they want to increase their bottom line, and I understand that it is theoretically possible that they found techeilis, however Chazal tell us it was nignaz and until the poskim wear it themselves (there is only a minority that do), I will not change and pass down a mesorah to make my children put an unproven dye on their tzitzis. Feels like this company wants to increase their bottom line, did not succeed with the poskim, and is now reaching out to us.

Sorry Amil, but lying that every kaparos stand is messy and is unkind to animals shows that you have actual disregard for truth in order to achieve an agenda that is insensitive to a religious group that in general is using and treating chickens per normal standards is simply disengenous, dishonest, anti religious and shows a lack of understanding of people that are different then you.

Why is it a chilul hashem? In general I think the chickens are treated in an a similar or equal manner to the way they are treated in chicken farms across the country. If not we should improve any areas that need improvement. It seems that the people causing trouble are very left wing rabble-rousers, and likely at least partially if not primarily influenced by antisemitic influences. If not why are they picking on a religious group rather then on the chicken farms themselves. There is clearly no extra pain to the chickens by coming out of the crates and getting air etc.
