Kylbdnr- I feel like crying 🙁 thank u for making me realize how lucky I am that my parent know about me, like i never thanked Hashem for that! I’m sorry- am I just making u feel worse? I really hope u can still have a good relationship with ur parents even without the mushy stuff, and u know ur probably lucky in other ways , like u probably get into less arguments if u talk to them less 🙂
Workinonit- I also sometimes have this prob , but it IS much easier in writing , so maybe do what a lot of posters suggested and write little cards , or keep saying thank u and maybe it’ll get easier, – this is what I do;)

i think my teachers always noticed good middot and pointed it out in the comments and columns on report cards , i don’t think it went unnoticed and i dont think teachers autimatically like students who are smart, it think their middot is a bigg part

welcome back! .. whenever i go to boro park i get stared at, i don’t really care because they’re really just not used to the dressing a little differently,
but i admire the children that don’t,- my cousins that live in Lakewood , even though they’re under the age of 7 they still know that it’s inappropriate to stare and accept us for who we are and have fun with us and they know at the same time that theyre a bit different and that not everyone grew up like them
i think it’s very smart of the parents to teach them this at a young age, the kids will become much nicer people 😀
i feel like i used to talk much more than i do now, and like i never had to think before i said anything cuz i always had to sm to say and it was comfortable!….
now i feel like i’m more awkward but i think it’s cuz i’m thinking more before i say anything[LH or anything else derogatory].. i dont really like how i’m more awkward especially around people who used to be my close friends its so upsetting 🙁
I also realized that when i’m thinking in my head so much “Is this awkward? is this awkward?” it ends up being awkward, but when i don’t think about it, the conversation was really going good 🙂
you also knwo that if a Rabbi told you no to something than it’s good for you, just like all the chukim in the Torah, we have to believe that hashem is muchh mightier than us and can see the whollee world and knows what’s better for us

candy i also feel the same way,
one time i asked to use someone’s blackberry to pray mincha and it was horrible! its so much more meaningful(for me) with a siddur, that i can actually hold close to me and turn pages and see explanations for the words…
also i made a mistake once, by thinking that someone was texting while praying but they were really just praying from their phone! but do u think it could be considered maris ayin?

8th grade is the best year! you have suchh a good time, and your the oldest in the school 😀
in 8th grade everyone is really all friends because of all the stuff that has to get done around school, and the last year b4 high school so enjoy elementary while it lasts!
