brotherofursParticipantyou PARK your car in a DRIVEway but DRIVE on a street called a PARKway
brotherofursParticipantis time bomb by jonathan kellerman? that’s the one i found on the internet, maybe i’ll try it 😀
brotherofursParticipanttry saying this super fast:
a flea and a fly and a flue
were caught so what could they do?
said the fly, “let us flee.”
“let us fly” said the flee
so they flew through a flaw in the flue
8okay i’ll admit it i didn’t make it up but its fun to say ;D
brotherofursParticipanti didnt follow the thread but i have the same problem. I did like reading A DAUGHTER OF TWO MOTHERS, by Miriam Cohen and she also wrote BEHIND THE WALLS. these were some of the only Jewish books i really liked because i didnt get nervous from the way it was written. ..oh i saw that comment to just read the torah, but i’m a girl and have a hard time translating and learning by myself, and i have tried readig ageret haRamban (in english), which includes a lot of lessons but the problem is i like stories… also if you want to be sure goyesha books are “kosher” i read the ones that are for younger children but are still good. Not the ones geared to my age. 🙂
brotherofursParticipantoh btw camp esh is closed.
brotherofursParticipantlol hahaha should i stop before it becomes too much? but it’s fun!! 😀
brotherofursParticipantme too lol but dont really do that! ;D say the brochot 😀
brotherofursParticipantso i was thinking just not to carry because it’s not so hard not to. but sjsinnyc now i’m scared… but it doesn’t matter, how often does it happen that someone NEEDS to carry?
brotherofursParticipanthi, anyone know the answer to my question from before?
brotherofursParticipantif the Jewish people do not get the message the first time, Hashem will keep sending them. Every tragedy that happens is only to give a message to us.
brotherofursParticipanti never saw any of this either. and yoyo i’m with you, never heard of that.
brotherofursParticipanthaleivi thats a good idea!
brotherofursParticipanthis yichus doesn’t affect what kind of person HE is, if you heard from someone that he may be the right one for your daughter then go for it
brotherofursParticipanthuh? nevermind then
brotherofursParticipanti once saw someone who was dressed up as a shower. the person had a “spout” (or wtvr you call the thing where the water comes out from lol) on top of his head and also a shower curtain attached to a circle pipe thing that went around the person’s head and body it was cool
i also once saw a mother dressed up in her daughter’s uniform ad her daughter in one of her mother’s shaitel’s and looked like her -this was soo cute!
brotherofursParticipanti have laffy taffy jokes 🙂 lol [purim]
brotherofursParticipanti heard you make a brocha because you get enjoyment out of the gum
brotherofursParticipanti also was not that great at understanding mifarshim until my father helped me a little. But in high school i had a very hard chumash teacher who would read a miforash and would wait for us to call out the meanings of it. Even if noone knew it, she would sit there waiting or wometimes giving us tiny hints. I guess this way by the time we get out of high school we’ll know how to translate it ourselves as if we’re still in the class.
brotherofursParticipantshticky guy i dont get it, plz explain? 🙂
brotherofursParticipantare you allowed to play piano tunes that are from non Jewish composers?
brotherofursParticipantbpt i think both my parents are okay with me going against their opinion even though they probably will get offended a little. It’s the flatbush eruv….so i should go by it for sure?
brotherofursParticipant*also you can get a big size
brotherofursParticipantthe swimdress that i own does not cling to the body. in fact, the opposite happens. IN the water it’s regular and once you get out it does hang on you a bit but gets longer NOT tighter 😀
brotherofursParticipantohhh eclipse ur right
brotherofursParticipanti think when a man wears a black hat, he represents his views on certain halachot in Judaism. If someone wants a boy “who wears a black hat” they want someone with views she thinks “black hats” have.
brotherofursParticipantThere are dresses that are made out of bathing suit material. Many Jewish women sell them in Flatbush. Our solution is solved. They even have different designs, and are not uncomfortable. They dry fast, and come in skirts and shirts too!
brotherofursParticipantalwayshere that is sooo cool!!
brotherofursParticipantI think Hashem answers you, but maybe Hashem doesn’t answer if what your asking for is not good for you, or maybe He answers you in a hidden way and may not even realize it’s being answered.
brotherofursParticipantPASSION4MUSIC me too!!!! i was going to write those things but i figured no one ever heard of the stuff we eat,:D but theyre sooo yummy!!i break my fast on sambusak, baked ziti, spinach tarts, and other stuff! but maybe i’ll try OJ next time!
brotherofursParticipantwhat should i do? My father goes by the eruv 9we live in Flatbush) and my mother doesn’t.
March 22, 2011 2:38 am at 2:38 am in reply to: Tznius- Not black and white (and red all over). #751397brotherofursParticipantdoes anyone know where the halacha for wearing stockings is written? (if it is anywhere) and how do we know which denyer is appropriate?
brotherofursParticipantsome adults did not go through the same things we do nowadays. i know an adult that thinks she’s always right about some things but she DIDN’T go through them! so i think i’m still right about some things because even though she’s the adult, times have changed and i’m NOT the same person she was, and i have tests ad goals in life that are different than her’s.
