that’s a little more than SICK! so in the middle of davening you get a phone call. or a text message. if that doesn’t disturb you then what does? maybe it’s a great thing to have on you JUST IN CASE you get arrested and don’t have a chance to grab a siddur. but honestly, is it such a big deal to use a siddur from the shul? or to keep one in your car for the once in a blue moon that you might get stuck davening be’yachid?

you’re right in that her resoning was that she felt it was unbecoming. but WHAT did she feel was unbecoming? what was she sensetive to? the fact that his leg showed. it was the tznius that she learnt from her father. true, (whether right or wrong) shaul might have not been the type to dance in public at all. but michal wasn’t rebuking david for dancing. she wasn’t stupid – she knew her father and david were very different and had differnt ways of serving hashem and she accepted that. except for when it touched on shaul’s greatness. and like i said, she was wrong and she was punished for it. but WHERE was that coming from? a praiseworthy aspect of king shaul.

joseph, for riddle #1:
i would split them into two groups of five and weigh one. if it equals to 67 grams, you know the delta ones are in that pile and you split that group into 2 and 3, weighing one of them.
if the original 5 only weighs 65 grams, you know they are all alphas and you go directly to step 2 of the first group (weighing 2 or three of them)
am i right? (this is so not my thing!)

98 on both american history and global. but my knowledge of american history is all from elementary school. we had awesome teachers in every grade – from 5th through 8th. (my american history teachers in high school were horrors. or maybe WE were the horrors – so they couln’t teach???)

no idea. apparently everyone else knows better than i do. all i know is that i once bought a flavored lip gloss (it tasted disgusting!) and my friend mentioned that it might be a problem so i threw it out. but maybe there are different psaks.
oh yeah most of my friends are like that. and they go out with ANY guy that comes up. it’s sickening. i feel like they make themselves cheap.
