The reason why some don’t hold hands is because if she is a niddah you are not allowed to, so in order that people shouldn’t know if she is a niddah it became accustomed not to hold hands at all

The girls get brainwashed that they should marry a learning boy who wants to sit in kollel the problem is that most girls are not growing up with such a lifestlye and after 9 months they think thats their tafkid in life and most girls dont realize this until a couple months back
If i am correct the greeks wanted it to be translated to show that we are no more special then anyone else and what was once only for the yidden was made for everyone else. now targum is also a pirush on chumash so thats different.

those that oppose artscroll is mainly because it takes away the ameilus in learning which at least for most kids in yeshiva is not good

Ask most kids and they will tell you that the food is not so bad.They shouldnt expect top food and a lot bring snacks including healthy ones from home so they are not starving
sorry.Also keep in mind that they make for a lot of people with not a lot of time to prepare if you want it to be fresh so you cant expect it to be so great.
the food is only as good as the quantity of the ingrindents and boys like to complain because it gives them something to do they have to grow up and know not to expect the food that their mother makes
