No conneciton but rav shlomo zalman said the most effective time of davening for teffilos to be answered is during tachanun right by shomer yisroel. you can ask quietly whatever you need. Yet almost every shul flies right through this part, when technically this is where you “cash in” on all the effort you put into your davening until then
It’s amazing how good at beating around the bush we are as a nation. I’m new to reading these blogs, but I can tell all of you talking about going to the army as if it is a hashkafah question with two sides is ridiculous. I know almost firsthand that nachal charedi is being cleverly forced to be mechalel shabbos, and recently the army added interacting with females to the mix for them. Is this a hashkafah “shailah” or straight shmad. And then they make a chazir fis chasmonaim brigade on chanukah – ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Thanks Neville, very well presented. If this is true, then we have a lot to do teshuvah for. Is there anyone who would like to volunteer to print this mathematical calculation and post in all the shuls and shtiebles, so people can see it in front of their eyes. Shockingly I never heard this, nor did others I showed it to. This needs to become viral ASAP
