myshadow, gorgeous is on I and McDonald but KeppingEntertained and I are talking about the one on M and 15th, I like them much better if you have a choice. and the boy does buy drinks which could be 15 dollars, um then parking?!? its about 35-60 dollars depending on place and time, and that is just for a first date, after first date well depending if you go back to a lounge again but the prices usually go up.
bored@workParticipantbrooklyn, do u have a desk job that you can be on all day like most of us here i assume? being that business is pretty slow there is alot of free time.
bored@workParticipantGOING TO THE HOLY LAND!!
bored@workParticipantbestdriver, yes I do have extra time which is why I am the one who creates and send out the emails.
bored@workParticipantIf I am not traveling to the city I do go to gorgeous as well, it is funny if we are all there the same time and may not know. Hair place on U and fourteenth is good as is $12… maybe we shud cordinate our days the same night so we can get ready together and head to the same lounge?!?
bored@workParticipantwell brooklyn so far none of those things have happened, just the loss of cash, I dont believe in loosing zechusim, u cant measure what HaShem is doing just do your part and it will work out. ok b’h I am here and alive, ur rite it would be a pity if I wasnt, I mean I wouldnt miss myself but my family and friends probably would.
bored@workParticipantthat is true, but we are talking about spelling now…
bored@workParticipantIt must be hard to give up the real stuff, lactaid pills dont work for u? thats wat did the job for me…
bored@workParticipantBrooklyn, not everyone wants the cheapest of things, you want to enjoy, last night I paid over 40 for a pedicure, and over twenty for manicure. not saying everyone has to pay that price because there r cheaper places but its good to enjoy and relax
bored@workParticipantBrooklyn maybe thats something to think about…
bored@workParticipantI still think speeding is ok, because I do know how to drive, just made a little mistake ( or rather a big one) but i always speed on highways, never got caught once, that ticket even once every other month is worth getting to my destination faster. unless my license will get taken away, otherwise its only cash I am losing on it.
bored@workParticipantwell we grew up in the era of computers, none other then spell check was created. never was a need to learn to spell again…
bored@workParticipantwow nice work brooklyn…
bored@workParticipantThose who play “Kvitlach”on Chanukah will be punished severely in the next world, as many other Aveiros, sins, are inevitably involved whenever these card games take place (gambling, stealing, Nivul Peh, Bitul Torah, Prikus Ol, Lashon Hara, [as well as lack of Tzniyus, Histaklus B’Arayos etc. when there are men and women involved in the same game, Chas V’Shalom] just to name a few).
One who has the capacity to stop these games from taking place and discontinue this sinful practice will be greatly rewarded in the next world (Aruch HaShulchan Siman 670:9. See also Yesod V’Shoresh Ha’Avodah Sha’ar 12: end of Perek 1)
If you have been invited to participate in such a game, it would be best to cancel and let them know that you won’t be attending. Although this may be a difficult decision and one that may cause you embarrassment and “hard feelings”, it is the right decision and one that a G-d fearing Jew must make. The Mishna in Pirkei Avos teaches us that “L’Fum Tzaarah Agrah- the more painful a
decision is to make, the greater the heavenly rewards”bored@workParticipantBrooklyn keep that in mind you are still new, u may post the most but u dont run the coffee room, I feel you have become too rude too soon…
Welcome gabs..
bored@workParticipantgabs i hope that was a joke, but brooklyn no wonder y u dont diet u never tasted real choclate or you wouldnt be able to put it down. I used to be so i can talk for myself…
bored@workParticipantThe ideal is to learn, but some people are not made for that so the second best thing to do is work and support learning people. U dont have to make calculation likes if noone is working because everyone is learning how will they make money. they wil be doing HaShems ratzone and he will help out. there are two ways a person can work. work in a business or wtvr and make money, or work delving into and learning into torah and HaShem will then take care of the parnasa part for you. and like your making it sound worst case everyone will be learning (a’h bkarov) Mashiach will be here!!…
bored@workParticipantonly one donut, i miss the uri donutes from israel :(… and lost count of latkes a long time ago, brooklyn, who cares about calories? Jewish Holidays its like a rule you must gain weight..
bored@workParticipanto qaws that could be it…
charlie brown, although you do have a point, there style of posting and content is very different, but maybe she just scared Joseph off because he now has a competitor
bored@workParticipantI am with smartcookie…
I am so nervous to get married now!! maybe instead of dating the boy I should date the MIL to make sure we get along!
bored@workParticipantHi, there is a person: [email protected], who is starting to send out daily emails on shmiras halashon, you can email the person saying you would like to join, its a fast and easy lesson… (well pp on here all day must have extra time anyway)
bored@workParticipantthat is really funny!!
bored@workParticipantI have been to raninu, a very good camp, organized and clean
bored@workParticipantwow that is scary Brooklyn, I was just in an accident the other night, that really shook me, sometimes it has to happen to you to make you realize its scary, but I still drive fast on highways which is not good…
bored@workParticipantwe may be bored but dont have time to go checking all threads, maybe you can just give us a hint?
December 23, 2008 5:12 pm at 5:12 pm in reply to: Easy Delicious But Healthy Cakes And Cookies #658448bored@workParticipantyou never know if the things in the cookbooks come out good, keepinentertained, judging by your username you do a lot of baking, so maybe you can give recipes that worked out well for you…
bored@workParticipantI heard if financially possible the best way to get ride of your enemies, is to give each a million dollars, they will hate you forever, and in one case he caused two of them to commit suicide…
bored@workParticipantso now that i finished hs there is no reason for me to finish college?!?
I mean if I want a learning husband I cant expect to take from my parents forever, rite?
bored@workParticipantasdfghjkl: I am aware of that being I am a teenager…
myshadow, totally true, its just a bit funny when people verbalize it
bored@workParticipantcant help you about boys camps but if you need any help with girls camps let me know i can help out, i went to a few…
bored@workParticipantits not cool or not its just like the newer generation, I had to teach the short terms to my mother so we can text properly. and i vote jewishfeminist off the biggest blogger cuz have not seen her in so long…
bored@workParticipantso what things should we do to make this a crazy chanukah?!? (in a good way of course)
bored@workParticipantWhen you dont see the person face to face it is easier to be nasty and let out your anger. But it shows that you are not the good person you are just doing it so other people say you are nice because noone will call you a mean person.
bored@workParticipantI can help you if you ask any questions in specific, I do have som e knowledge.
bored@workParticipantI am still trying to shed my seminary weight, so I limit myself to one a night, also last night I had latkes made on like a flat grill so there was no added oil!! pretty cool..
bored@workParticipantKeepinentertained, you are so right and I really try not to honk, because it bothers me so much when other people honk so why should i?
when i first started driving, being that i lived i brooklyn so i am honked at all the time, it was so hard to drive because if i stopped for a second i would only get honked at and it would get me so scared.
also, i heard that driving has to do with your middos, so i assume that working on your driving is also working on your middos, i am not saying in how well you drive, but how you deal with other drivers.
Its just scary that yesterday I went out to do two things and it turns into over two hour affair, and when I was asked to pick up a simple bagel I said i cant because parking wont allow me to do it in less than a half hour.
myshadow, kol hakavoid to you!
bored@workParticipantI know I was just thinking that about the new thing… maybe the mods can take care of that cuz they dont seem to busy… thanks, and welcome everyone knew
bored@workParticipantShwekey of course is number one, lev tahor, Shlomie Daskal is also amazing voice.
thinking helps… no lipa?!
bored@workParticipantI limit it to my hours at work, because I am plain bored, but would not check it out on my own free time- but during work i am on the whole time.
bored@workParticipantTomo!! and share hatorah, have great real serious learners, and open minded to the world.
bored@workParticipantBrooklyn is right, it is the atmosphere, you can keep extra chumros and that is very nice, but you have to instill in your kids a love for what they are doing. so it should not feel like a burden to them but something they get pleasure out of. It is sitting the nekudas habechira highier which is really amazing
bored@workParticipantaside from prospect being in, it is the best school out there!!
bored@workParticipantI eat a sandwhich with it as well. but I want protien and tuna is pretty boring.
bored@workParticipantYeshivishmom, In tzinues there is alot of extra things that you do because u feel right about it, which is why it is so hard to answer those people who say “where does it say…” Most of my friends wear short sleeves over long sleeves, it is not only a t-shirt look but they make very nice shabbos tops and suite jackets as well. I dont know in seminary I just felt something about it, I didnt feel like a bas melech, it is a look and I just didnt think I felt like malchus in it. So I gave away all my short sleeve tops, it is hard because most of the stores sell pretty things, but lifes all aobut struggle.
A teacher of mine told us she sees a bigger problem with slingbacks than high heels, so it all depends on you and how you feel about that matter. But always try to highten and raise your sensativities.
bored@workParticipantI do not have them at work, but I work part time so I am home for lunch.
bored@workParticipantUm it can get a little boring, but its hard everyday like what shall I eat today? so its just always ready for me, u have any other suggestions for a quick prepared lunch? Sometimes I open a cookbook but there is like mostly chickens nothing normal for a lunch
bored@workParticipantThank you I will try to find it.
November 26, 2008 4:36 pm at 4:36 pm in reply to: Kids Following Sports, Something to Worry About?? #626373bored@workParticipantIt really depends your backround and what you allow or what you want your kids to do. Chofetz Chaim is very into the boys being worldy and knowing these thigns. I also know chassidish people who are considered a little messed up if they do follow it, so you have to deciede for yourself what you would like your kids doing or not.
bored@workParticipantThank you so much, I will let you know how it tastes, My mother used to just put on plain terriyaki sauce so first I will try this new marinated recipe and after the new terriyaki, I do eat it everyday so I have time. thank you so much
bored@workParticipantmdlevine,
My mother deals with mothers of multiples who cannot afford the neccesities. One lady could tot afford diapers so sometimes we get people to donate and I drop them off by her. I was wondering if maybe you would be able to help out, thank you so much!
