not everyone is capable of understanding music. for example…i can listen to some music (classical or whatever) and just be overloaded why the great amounts of information…whereas my friends just dont get any of it…some peopel just dont understand the tone of the music…subtle differences, nuances…yeah im done.

goodness…ok. so i started out with the HTC evo…the old one running android 1.5. then u bought (accidentally) a stolen incredible which i couldnt use as a pnone…made a lovely PDA though…then i bought myself the Droid X2 but i had to return that beause i need unlimited data and my provider (pageplus) doesnt provide that. so i exchanged it for a boost mobile galaxy prevail and thats absolute garbage so ill be returning that…so what im FINALLY going to end up with is the HTC Evo 3D on the Spring network. mind you all this took place in one year.
as for mirrors…when youre an onen your primary concern is the burial of the mes which is why you dont make brochos when you eat…so the mirrors are quite secondary and only apply once youre an avel.
as for music…why would you be an onen long enough? but to answer your question im almost positive that the halachos of availus only apply once the body is buried (or at least after the funeral). as for music to help you fall asleep after the burial…you need to ask your rav about that. everyone is different.

im assuming the decision isnt arbitrary…as was mentioned in the other thread…perhaps there are other women working there and to minimize complications they arent interested in hiring a man. it goes the other way as well…where i work we wouldnt hire a woman to be secretary because the rest of the workers are men…i dont think anyone would challenge that. so ease up there.

personally i dont think a person should A) know their own IQ B) tell anyone else their IQ. you really dont benefit from it. suppose for a second that you have an IQ of 110 which is about average, and you find out that your closest friend is a 135. you never knew that about him. how do you think that friendship is going to look after that.
suppose its you with the 135 and your friend with the 110. how do you think that would go. suppose you found out about his lower IQ. think about it…and consider before posting in this thread and/or finding out your IQ.

Zman has published numerous articles concerning the Holocaust. Rather graphic articles. No one complained. Once again, I’m not seeing a problem. I don’t care how graphic the article is, what makes it inappropriate, the fact that you, personally, are not able to handle certain details? I hardly think that qualifies as inappropriate.

She can control what her kids read. It is in no way the fault of the publication that her kids are exposed to what she deems inappropriate content. The fault is entirely hers and hers alone. Therefore her point is entirely INvalid. (redundant redundancy is redundant 😛 ) Where did she specify castration as the topic of discussion?
