Boy am i glad im done and over my regents! Quick tip-by multiple choice and youre really stumped don’t choose any answer that has “always” or “never”- they are usually wrong. If its a math example don’t choose the highest/lowest number. Take a stab at the in betweens. Hatzlacha rabbah!
blinkyParticipantshtusim thats crazy. Heres another crazy one-someone asked a friend of mine what animal would you compare the girl to!!!
blinkyParticipantmusic lover i like that one!!!
blinkyParticipantWhile we are on this topic, id like to add here the stigma that unfortunatly comes with a broken engagement. its really sad that some wonderful ppl who have a broken engagement are treated like a nebach case. sometimes it just happens that it doesn’t work out. it doesn’t necessarily mean that they were too hasty. especially if it was the other side that neglected to say something or whatever. we have to be really careful and if their name comes up for a shidduch, they should be treated like everyone else.
blinkyParticipantYeshivaguy222 i understand what you are saying but let me ask yout his-would you have rather have gone out w/ a slim girl and not have a good time? At least you had a pleasant time w/ her.
blinkyParticipantWith everyone talking about Baruch Levine, i can’t believe no one mentioned his english Lecha Dodi. Its very inspiring. Does anyone know if its true?

blinkyParticipantuntil lag baomer
blinkyParticipant“Being overweight is simply unhealthy. Aside from being ugly it’s a symbol of bad health”. i’m sorry but thats a very strong statement Daniel Breslauer. overweight can mean a couple of lbs. more than what your supposed to weigh-i definitely wouldn’t term that ugly. as a matter of fact i wouldn’t term anyone ugly. being as it may, i know some overweight ppl that are actually very attractive. and not necessarily is it a symbol of bad health.i would not say no to a shidduch bec. of weight. thats very narrowmindedness. if my spouse is appealing to me e/ if theyre overweight, i would definitely go ahead.
blinkyParticipantoomis if your talking about the story that just happened a couple of days ago, the 8 yr. old boy was NOT being kidnapped! the boy ran into the middle of the street and a driver went out of his car and grabbed the kid and yelled at him. big difference. but yeah i am wondering who was watching this kid.
blinkyParticipantthis is a little off topic, but its a cute story anyway. my father rarely beeps, unless its an emergency. while he was driving he came across a double parked car, which he couldn’t fit through. behind him a driver was leaning on his horn the whole time and really causing a racket. my father calmly went out of his car and went to the other guys window and handed him his keys to his car and said, “here you try to do it, i can’t.” the guy confidentaly went, started the car….and couldn’t get through! he went back to his car. i don’t remember the rest of the story but i think the driver waited quietly. just a little lesson on patience.
blinkyParticipanti signed it (actually twice) but how exactly is it supposed to help? if lets say 30,000 ppl sign than what? he will walk away free?
blinkyParticipanttheres nothing wrong w/ using technology thats more of a necessity on shabbos. but its crazy when ppl make certain foods on pesach a necessity.
blinkyParticipantabsolutely! these foods are good to eat the week before pesach but on pesach i think ppl are meaking a statement that for the one week when were not supposed to eat chametz food they can’t handle it. its the same thing w/ rushing to the pizza stores the second yomtov is over.
blinkyParticipantwe also use whole wheat matzohs. it tastes great and its healthy so why not? a good tip- if the matzoh is hard to chew, or even if its not, put it in in the oven for a few minutes before eating it-it comes out warm and crunchy and tastes so delicious!!!
