blinkyParticipant
This thread is corny
blinkyParticipantotb- is it Yosef? Cuz was worked for potifar and he ended up marriying asnas.
Not sure cuz he wasn’t employed exactly he was a slave
blinkyParticipantThis is an unofficial goodbye- as i won’t have internet access for the near future (sniff sniff). Hope to come back soon!
Have a great summer everybody, and i hope if i posted anything that was hurtful ill be forgiven.
blinkyParticipantotb- for your second riddle heres 2 ppl so far- Moshe and Yaakov
blinkyParticipantMazel Tov to my brother on his upcoming bar mitzvah!
blinkyParticipantWell your better off then Wolf who is entering kindergarten…..
http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/congrats#post-258661
blinkyParticipantI understand your predicament but you have to look at it both ways. Why are they asking for females? Is it because its an all girl office? Are they willing to train in someone new and inexperienced for less pay?
If its an office of girls would YOU want to be the odd man out (excuse the pun). In addition it can cause the female wokers there to be uncomfortable with a male colleague in their midst.
Also not necessarily is it easy for a graduate to find a job. When i was looking after hi school, most of the jobs that i applied for was looking for experience.
Hatzlacha finding a job.
blinkyParticipantThe power of a smile:
He smiled at his grumpy boss,
Who in turn at his wife was less cross,
It lit up her mood,
As she fed her brood,
So smile- just remember to floss!
P.s. i was gonna start it with “she” but wasn’t sure how that will fly here 🙂
blinkyParticipantHow exciting Wolf! I guess you can experience what R’ Akiva must have felt. Don’t forget to bring your smock!
Bpt- Sad but true. Ppl change once they come out of school and grad pictures do little justice.
June 13, 2011 8:55 pm at 8:55 pm in reply to: why is it fair for a younger daughter to have to wait for the older daughter? #776315blinkyParticipantAfter Shavuos boy did i wail,
After I gingerly stepped on the scale,
This is really no joke,
But of course it just broke,
And off to more cheesecake I sail!
blinkyParticipantMazal Tov! B”H everything is OK!
blinkyParticipantHow about “whipping” it?
blinkyParticipantThis Mazel Tov is for a great guy
By the name of Am Yisrael Chai
He just had his marriage
Iy”h soon a carriage
And to his wonderful Kallah- hi!
Chag someach to everyone too!
blinkyParticipanti was actually reffering to the layout of the cr- you know black words on a white page not the actual people 🙂
blinkyParticipantGuess not…oh well ill have to do it myself 🙁
Gulp gulp gulp…smack…tchoop…(another glass please)
I like mine dark by the way
blinkyParticipantWhy what was so wrong with that?
blinkyParticipantMinyan- can we up the toasting time to 5:00 im not going to be online at 6 🙂
blinkyParticipantWell if going to the catskills is considered “upstate” then we brooklyners are considered southerners no?
blinkyParticipantMinyan- You are famous already (here!)
On Shavuos we all rejoice
With great diginity and poise
Men stay up all night
And reach a greater height
Learning aloud in a clear voice.
blinkyParticipantThe CR is black and whit(ish) and read all over!
blinkyParticipantThanx mod 80 (and all the others)
For keeping me in check sometimes (even though I think that the joke i wanted to post in the joke thread was funny) But I got over it. And I like your humor
blinkyParticipantI think its a very thoughtful thing to do! As long as it said once and not very loud just as a low reminder I don’t see anything wrong. And as for concentration- rather let someone “disturb” you then finishing your tefilla and having to say it over again.
blinkyParticipantICOT- i posted my answer at around twelve thirty-forty- so i was still able to say it (according to my family). As for your question that is a pretty good one i would like to know the answer too.
blinkyParticipantThanx ICOT I can’t believe that I completely forgot to say Yaaleh V’yavoh today- thanx for the reminder im right now gonna say shmona esrei and hallel (you get schar too!) And Good Shabbos too!
blinkyParticipantsqueak- i do pop in occasionally (limericks, riddle threads…) which are a little more than you.
And Pepper and Yossi- You had good limericks i liked reading them at least come back for that!!
blinkyParticipantI don’t recall saying those colors u sure it was me? I usually stick to neutral colors.
But i might use “controversal” colors for pedicures. (however often that is)
hmmm i wonder why you were booted out of that thread 🙂
blinkyParticipantWhat did i say on the nail polish thread, i forgot already, uh oh what did i say?
And sleeves are for runny noses!
blinkyParticipantI guess ill post mine now too
Whether in US Israel or Rome
Wishing you all Shabbat Shalom,
No matter the location,
This weekly “vacation”
Will bring peace unto your home.
Minyan- I must have missed your Shabbos limerick from last week. I would be delighted to sit around your table!
blinkyParticipantWell its not that i get attracted by fights but i decide to pop in for a little bit and i see my peace making mode can be put to use
(i distinctly remember you once rewarded me as “Least controversal”) So i guess if a controversy comes up maybe i can set things straight!
And Q tips are great to remove smudged eyeliner!
blinkyParticipanttsk tsk children no fighting…
blinkyParticipantsqueak- I know im not part of the “old” crowd as you quoted but im not “new” either. Im somewhere in between, where does that put me? Just to mention- i do enjoy your posts, maybe you and the doc can both pop in more often for those in betweens who still remember you….
blinkyParticipantMy pleasure! I usually don’t have riddles but when I heard this one I knew I had to post it! Ill be on the lookout for more.
blinkyParticipantCorrect! (Was that your answer or did you cheat?) Either way good going!
blinkyParticipantLol, but sorry not the right answer.
blinkyParticipantThere are 3 people with the same name written in the Torah. One was born a Jew and died a Jew. The other was born a Goy and died a Goy. And the other was born a Goy and died a Jew. Who are they?
blinkyParticipantMaybe clergy cuz pains rains and enemy all have a negative connotation?
blinkyParticipantJURY Duty Scam
Pass this on to your grown children and anyone else you can think of.
This has been verified by the FBI (their link is also included below).
Please pass this on to everyone in your email address book. It is
spreading fast so be prepared should you get this call. Most of us
take those summonses for jury duty seriously, but enough people skip
out on their civic duty that a new and ominous kind of fraud has
surfaced.
The caller claims to be a jury DUTY coordinator. If you protest
that you never received a summons for jury duty, the Scammer asks you
for your Social Security number and date of birth so he or she can
verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant. Give out any of
this information and bingo, your identity was just stolen.
The fraud has been reported so far in 11 states, including Oklahoma ,
Illinois , and Colorado , AZ and more. This (swindle) is particularly
insidious because they use intimidation over the phone to try to bully
people into giving information by pretending they are with the court
system.
The FBI and the federal court system have issued nationwide alerts on
their web sites, warning consumers about the fraud.
Check it out here:

And here:

Yep! It’s true
blinkyParticipantCholent, kugel and kishe in a crock,
Is just one part of the Shabbos hock,
There is a better mood,
And its not just the food,
As this week is also Parshas Chazak!!
Goos Shabbos!!
blinkyParticipantMod.- I needed to use all the omega 3 in my brain to understand your post! Such high vocabulary!
blinkyParticipantSqueak pops in once in a blue moon but D.P. maybe if you come back he will pop in more often!
blinkyParticipantmod 80- I know what ajar means! And i said use omega 3 (FISH oil) to close it shut!!:)
blinkyParticipanthmmmm im stumped! Maybe omega 3 will help?
blinkyParticipantI also had my share of fishing heartaches! Im still trying to get Jar fish…never was sucessful.
blinkyParticipantDon’t discriminate tuna fish- what about gefilte fish:)
blinkyParticipantAdorable- I just read this thread for the first time and i think i understand what you are saying. (If Im off base then at least this is what I think)
In high school (at least mine) all our worries were what we were going to score on our chemistry and math regent. We were in our little cacoon of tests, shabbatons and play and never really understood what our teachers meant by internet is bad and certain places are bad. You knew that it will never affect you.
Now that you are out of school in the working world and single, there are no teachers guiding you and naturally you get pulled by certain attractions that you never knew existed. Especially now that there are more worries (shidduchim, work issues….) Its nice to find other means to make you happy, so you turn to other things. (email, websites..) Even on kosher sites there can be innapropriate things! Now you feel that your not that sweet aidel BY girl anymore.
You still are!! Just move on and the fact that you its bothering you is a good feeling. Im not sure what exactly is making you feel unpure but whatever it is you are obviously smarter not to go there again. Also try to attend speeches once in awhile or do something that makes you feel pure (i still keep my 12th grade chesed job and it makes me feel so good!)
B’hatzlacha!
blinkyParticipantChodesh Iyar on the day eighteen,
Celebrations worldwide can be seen,
Rashbi we admire,
Through dance and fire,
Its Lag Ba’omer that I mean.
blinkyParticipantTo ursula and Minyan:

Or your wallet expansion,

blinkyParticipantWell if you didn’t win Flatbush Hatzolah, BP Hatzolah is coming up so maybe try your luck there…

blinkyParticipantA Baruch Habbah and hi
