ben_DavidParticipant
Yeah!….Fight the Power!
ben_DavidParticipantYashi,
You remind of Michael Savage. You’re both angry, vocal, funny, and indefatigable rant-machines with lots of chutzpah.
Here is a tip. Start your own radio talk show.
ben_DavidParticipantI’ve never seen your brain, so you have no one. Prove me wrong.
ben_DavidParticipant@The Goq
Genius and eccentricity are connected my dear. Normalness is the trait of common people.
ben_DavidParticipantThanks for the reply. Berlin has a vibrant jewish community and according to news thousands of young Israeli immigrants settle there every year,…so I guess goyim in the federal capital are more used to kippa-wearing jews. I’m not sure about cologne area though,…so I’ll play it safe and stick to wearing a nondescript headwear.
ben_DavidParticipantSpreading malicious lies about me being a Goy is a motzi shem ra of chilul Hashem proportions. Shame On You!
ben_DavidParticipantThe real issue is…..was his conversion halachic?
ben_DavidParticipantBy the way, one of my comments wasn’t approved because it contained a 3-letter synonym for “edited”…..now that’s extreme.
ben_DavidParticipant^^
Exactly. Many MO people here post extreme views to make frummies look bad….like the one who asks if he should spank his adult son and then complains that today’s belts don’t whip so well. I call that trolling.
ben_DavidParticipantI eat pickled onions, lemons, carrots, chilies, and much more. I’m European too. Try to make them yourself at home, it’s easy.
ben_DavidParticipant@”stick out my tongue and touch my nose”
Now that’s Putting your nose to the grindstone.
ben_DavidParticipantSniff Sniff…I smell MO…sniff sniff…I also smell a failed attempt at trolling…
ben_DavidParticipantHe’ll come back as The_Lawyer and start screaming “I’ll sue you!” to everybody here. Wait and see.
Shabbat Shalom.
ben_DavidParticipantYou’re a therapist, so what? You want us to give you a peanut or something?
ben_DavidParticipantBecause (relatively) very few Jewish families can claim to have been in the US since the 18th century without being assimilated. I guess your family is Sephardi (from Sefarad,…not from Orient).
ben_DavidParticipantYou wouldn’t believe me, but the nephew of my great great great (etc…) grandfather tried to found a Jewish homeland in Florida. He also served as the first Jewish senator in US history.
ben_DavidParticipantYou’re either a BT, MO, Chiloni, or a TG (Trolling Goy)….and you know it.
ben_DavidParticipantI’m a Moroccan/Persian Jew and I drive a Benz. Would you consider a shidduch for your daughter with me? 😀
ben_DavidParticipantYour post was obviously translated from English with google. You can’t fool a native speaker of French. 😉
ben_DavidParticipantAnd how come Jews still managed to be an elite in Eretz Yisrael, Babilonia, Persia, etc…? Most sephardic jews were wealthy or middle-class at worst, in the diaspora,….and they ended up being low-paid blue-collar workers in Ashdod, Ashkelon, Be’er Sheva, etc…
ben_DavidParticipantForget about Detroit.
How about a halachic state while waiting for the coming of Moshiach?
If Mormons can have their own state, why not Frum Jews?
North Dakota for example,…has an ageing population of just 700.000. In a couple of generations Yidden become a majority. Much better than jewish enclaves in the heart of Goyish urban centres, which could lead to assimilation in the long run. My two cents. 🙂
ben_DavidParticipantben_DavidParticipantbonjour am23,
ben_DavidParticipantI think we should take the matter more seriously…and perform genetic testing to determine if a group of people has any link to the jewish people. If we only rely on dubious anthropology, we’ll end up with half the third-world claiming to be Lost Tribes. That’s why I asked sarcastically,…why pashtuns, ethiopians, igbo, Bnei Menashe, Peruvian Indians,…..but not Basques, Swedes or Japanese?
ben_DavidParticipantIf Jews, both religious and secular,…are not making their aliyah (and many israelis are leaving for the US, Berlin, London, etc…) it’s because they have their own reasons.
-From a secular point of view,…life too expensive and salaries too low.
-From a religious perspective,…no temple, no Moshiach,….and add to that, outward hostility towards the religious. It’s a lot easier to be a jew in the diaspora than in Israel.
ben_DavidParticipantThese areas are NYC—>
-Most Expensive housing in the world (with permission of Tel Aviv).
-Not a suiteable place to raise a large family.
-Too liberal, idolatrous and untzinus for a G-D fearing jew.
-You can’t govern yourself in NYC according to your beliefs and values. Too big and diverse to influence local politics.
PS: Actually I’d suggest Dafina instead of Carp fish. oops!…Did I Say That?
ben_DavidParticipant@poppa
Well, if you can’t get a job (because let’s say…you lack secular education), you can create YOUR OWN JOB.
That’s something yidden have always done.
You can even smuggle kosher liquor from Canada….ok, that’s a joke…don’t delete my post plz. 😀
ben_DavidParticipant^^
There are many jobs in IT and biotechnology in Metro-Detroit.
However that’s not the point. The point is, it’s easier to take over an existing city or town and transform it by democratic means to meet the needs of all Practicing Jews than creating one from scratch (see Monsey, etc..).
ben_DavidParticipantWhy Pashtuns and not….let’s say….Basques?
ben_DavidParticipant@ajuperma
Not necessarily. Britain, a (relatively) tiny country densely populated has dozens of distinctive dialects and accents. London which can be compared to NYC as a global metropolis still has characteristic accents which differ along geographical, ethnic and social lines.
Now, as The Coq wondered/asked, is this something to really lament?
A world where everybody looks, speaks and acts like everybody, is a world of boredom.
Brooklyn/NYC dialect should be preserved as a cultural heritage. It’s just stupid and sad to hear a Brooklyn Jew or a Jersey Italian speaking like someone from small-town Iowa.
My two agorot.
ben_DavidParticipantI wouldn’t believe it, my Jewfro can’t lie.
ben_DavidParticipantI think I’m the only one in the world who doesn’t have a smartphone and isn’t planning to buy one. (and not because I’m poor or something, it’s just because I don’t see what’s the difference between a smartphone and my 10 year old Nokia, if I only need a mobile phones to make and receive calls).
ben_DavidParticipantLike I said, this is not the frumest of frum forums on the net. Reading non-jewish litterature, wats da world comin to?
PS: Dr.Watson was not dimwitted, he just like 99% of people, didn’t have the ability to think outside the box. The only ones who have this gift (thinking outside the box) are lunatics and….geniuses.
ben_DavidParticipantI recommend you tobacco-flavoured e-liquids. They taste more or less, like the “real thing”.
ben_DavidParticipantCan someone translate to me what he’s trying to say?
ben_DavidParticipant“Where do you buy it?”
I can make a copy for you if you want. Do you have some floppy disks?
“What does it look like?”
It’s like TV, but you’re the one who runs the show.
ben_DavidParticipantOk. So what’s your take on Ichud Hakehillo?
ben_DavidParticipantWow Popa, are you some sort of Hillfrummie?
ben_DavidParticipant‘It’s actually a privilege.’
Wow, so I must be someone very special. First member ever to receive his subtitle after just one post. 😀
ben_DavidParticipantNot giving me any present.
ben_DavidParticipantThey’re not inferior. They just have different roles in this life.
ben_DavidParticipantYes, the Internet can be used for work purposes in an office, when it’s absolutely necessary. But here you’re not using it to make a living. That’s what most gedolim say.
By the way, someone (A mod or an admin I guess) messed with my signature. Thank you boss! How Nice of You!.
