    Magazines DO make mistakes. Ami Magazine had an article about Jewish girls in hijabs (that robe that Arab women wear that covers their face) and it was saying how tznius it was, and they were quoting the Rambam all over the place that a woman should not leave the house, etc. I was very disgusted.

    My mother used to have one of those touch-phones where you can put numbers for auto-dialing, so she put the doctor on speed dial, but she took it off because the he was getting like six personal calls a day to hear the washing machine or similiar sounds…. 🙂

    Ms. Critique – I would be careful. There are numerous girls in my grade whose parents don’t know that they know what internet is, let alone use it. Some of these girls use it at night or when their parents aren’t home.

    Most kids (for sure teenagers) know when there is a computer in the house and know how to get on to it and use it.

    I’m receiving very conflicting opinions.

    Am yisrael chai, there’s no way I could have been taught enough in school. It’s amazing what you can learn just by reading The Little Midrash Says, and similar books…

    And yes, my [older] brothers know what to do if two people are holding a tallis and claiming it’s theirs, but they don’t know what Potifar’s wife’s name was, or Og’s father’s name. (Randomly.)
