Did you ever think that your relatives don’t want to see you? You should not be insulted, but if a relative is in town for a few precious hours and you AREN’T that close, why should they call? To let you know they’re there, but they can’t come see you? What is the point of rubbing that in your face?

Most people would NOT be livid if you were in their town for YOUR OWN BUSINESS and had limited time to call your distant relative to say, “Hi, I’m here, but I can’t see you…”
