Nope. Despite possible beliefs of some to the contrary, haven’t posted.

But this is the i admit i made a mistake thread, so I’ll use it for that purpose. Is it possible to reset the clock? Is it possible for us all to be friends again? Look, I made a mistake and I apologize completely. I shouldn’t have used multiple usernames. I have a reason I felt is very good, but am not going to defend myself; it will only generate further disagreement, and why argue? I’ll concede. After all it is against the rules. It was an error. I also apologize for all and any other wrongs, real and perceived, to the mods and posters. Is there anything worth fighting over? I say positively not. (As far as the hashkofos, they come verbatim from the Gedolim, and frequently are sourced and cited. Some may disagree even vociferously, but that won’t change.)

So, like I was asked last week to stick to one name, I’ll do so. But clearly anything I post as ‘Joseph’, if I opine the sky is blue, will have 2 or 3 posters always disagreeing and saying tke is red. So I’ll choose a new name, unannounced and as of yet undecided what, and stick to it. Just one. Don’t even know when [or if] I’ll have time to start posting again. Is that fair mods?

(And folks if you think you know its me, graciously refrain from announcing it, as the likelihood is anyways you’re wrong about it.)

Can harmony, conciliation, and brotherly love prevail?

tbt: I honestly need no apology for any cruelty on your part. Better direct the apology to the multiples of other posters you falsely associated as one.

Okay Mod, now you know why I’ve used 5 names almost every day for the past week.

The one you know is me you censor needlessly, deleting on-topic comments that are part of the threads conversation that are simple responses to others posts, and nothing objectionable. Yet from my experiment in the last week, 50% of them are not published or deleted after they were published by a different moderator.

The other 4 active names that you haven’t associated with me, gets an (almost) 100% approval rate by the moderators.

That is why you will not know what my screen names are unless I feel like letting you know as I have with some others. And when you try guesstimating you will be blocking half a dozen or a dozen other posters who are not me, thinking you were smart and “caught him”, while hitting the wrong people. Block away.

Do not confuse cause and effect and do not create new facts. We are reacting, not ACTING. Pick one name, let us know which you choose and we can go back to NORMAL.

    Your Call Joseph

How about the original name? Clear the block and subtitle…

Fine, This account will be changed to read “Joseph”. Use this one ONLY.

We catch you using more names we will either

    1. delete ALL your previous posts from ALL known screen names get deleted from the CR and the Comments on the mainpage.

    2. Edit your posts as we see fit, even if means changing words like “forbidden” to now read “commendable”

    3. Bring back the fake Josephs. You seemed to have enjoyed that a bunch.

You started with the multiple names before anything was done to you. This is our site and we will still choose to accept or reject posts as we see fit. You have lost your Chezkas Kashrus with these games. So understand why we wont post your random quotes of selected Rabbonim which can’t be verified or why we occasionally feel the need to just ignore you.

    1. Why don’t you go out and prove our mistakes the way you always shift the burden of proof onto the one you are debating?

    2. Our percentage of outing you versus the false positives is well over 90%, Shame your only defense is pointing out the less than 10%

    3. On the positive side, we thank you for only using 1 screen name this past week. Granted you had to create a new one for some odd reason, but it seems like the therapy sessions you so strongly needed are beginning to pay dividends.

Now we’ll just have to see about a mea cupla on others. Jose is another of their many mistakes. Or maybe the emes doesn’t matter after all.

    Does emes matter to you?

Does your usage of multiple screennames constitute emes?

Or is emes only a requirement of others and not you?

Every teshuva in Igros Moshe is written to someone with specific circumstances. The fact that the teshuva coincidentally was written to a Yeshiva does not limit is applicability to a Yeshiva.

So what was called hot air above by a mod, is the same thing that happened to others (not myself) years ago here in the CR.

    1. You used a known proxy, not a shared IP.

    2. You were not on YeshivaNet

    3. You also have been making the same comments under different names in the CR and or comments section on the news site.

    4. Why the heck do you need to create a new screen name to argue that you are being unfairly targeted and unfairly accused of using multiple screen names?

This is as about as dumb as the guy who was accused of stealing money from vending machines who paid his $500 bail in quarters.

A bochur once asked Rav Moshe if he thinks he should marry this wonderful girl whose only chisoron is that she’s too tall. So Rav Moshe suggested asking his Rebbitzin. Rebbetzin Feinstein came over, Rav Moshe stood up for her, and she was towering over Rav Moshe as he asked her if this has been a problem.

Just as if a soldier refuses to wear his uniform, he will soon no longer be a soldier; and if a Belzer Chosid starts wearing a kipa sruga and shorts, he probably will no longer be considered a Belzer Chosid; so too if a Chareidi starts wearing jeans casually every day, it may cause him to no longer be considered a Chareidi.
