and if youre parking where theres space for another car, dont take up all the space!!! this happens to me pretty much every day and i get SO annoyed–there are always cars that take up two spots and dont leave room for another

a husband and wife are at a magic show. the magician accomplishes an amazing feat, and some guy in the crowd shouts out, “how’d you do it?” the magician said, “if I told you, I’d have to kill you.”

the husband shouts out, “can you tell my mother-in-law?”

surfer mentioned R’ Alster’s yeshiva. I go to his shul in Bklyn, i know firsthand that the students there are top-rate, really fine boys-and R’ Alster himself is worth going to the yeshiva for!

also, kollelwife asked about a few schools including Peekskill and South Fallsburg……..one of my brothers just finished BM in Peekskill. Happens to be the yeshiva wasnt his type at all, but he loved it–the R’Y is very into the boys and takes a sincere interest in their learning and growth process

    S. Fallsburg: my father went there, and he raised me…lol jk dont know that much about it, but I think it has a very good reputation…good luck!

ashreinu: im talking about BY in general, and myself in specific. it definitely is a compliment, although i consider myself “normal” frum.

i think that many ppl see themselves as “normal” and in the middle, everyone below them is modern and everyone above them is way too frum. does anyone else agree?

asdfghjkl: funny that you ask about that school because i have a really good friend whos brother just switched this year to shaarei arazim. from what i hear, he loves it: small amount of boys, but still diversity, everything is personal and individual attention is given…idk anything about the learning or curriculum. i can try to find out a little more about it if you want

Joseph, i appreciate the concern. i stayed by neighbors the first night, and after the insurance and boarding-up guys did their stuff, we were able to move back in BH. one of my brothers rooms is now non-existent, but hes in Israel so he doesnt havta see his room (or lack thereof lol). one side of the house is gonna need major repairs, some floors are water- damaged also. but as i said before, it could have been worse!

-queen: shaar haTorah is in Queens (kew garden/ k.g. hills, not sure which one), im pretty sure the Rosh Yeshivah is R’ Kalman Epstein.

one of my brothers is there now, he’s doing great, loves the teachers and the boys!

–intellegent: i feel very comfortable with staying home, but i think E’Y would be the better option.

notpashut, thanks for the offer! ill be sure to hold you up on it…

and intellegent, i have a sis in israel, so for now im not gathering invites lol

    — btw the only thing i do on the internet is check my email, do work if i need the internet for it, and go on YWN can i still be a rebetzin?? lol
