at what point in the process are you (or your sig. other) being Mafrish your challah?

    Just before forming the loaves.

i need as many opinions as possible.

    Why do opinions matter here?

If I’m baking it in the machine as well, I was told to cut off a piece of the finished bread as challah.

Which machine makes a big enough batch to require Challah?

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure the only reason we use base-ten now is because that’s what the Europeans adopted later on.

It was the French who tried making everything base ten. They were succesful in implementing the Metric system for many measurements but weren’t successful in implementing Decimal Time. At the time the English clockmakers were more advanced than the French ones. (This is the same reason that degrees of longitude are based on Greenwich and not Paris)

Scrape it with a razor or brush it with a stiff wire brush. Be gentle with the brush because you don’t want to melt the wax. If you damage the surface of the felt you can renew it with sandpaper.

Make sure yo umail your self your idea and leave the envelope sealed. That will serve as proof of when you had your idea in case anyone tries to make it theirs.

This is what the copyright office has to say on the matter:

Of course you need to take into account that they may be biased, they’re in the business of selling copyright protection.

I think that means already tested by someone else and knows results. Its to prevent people figuring out status.

If you want to find out about an individual’s status as a carrier, you can go to a private lab.

If you have results from another source, you are ineligible to use DY’s services.

Individuals who are engaged, married, already tested, or otherwise aware of their carrier status are not eligible to participate in this program.

No stira. The map is to inform you which merchants have a physical location. A merchant may have a physical location, be on the map, and be ineligible for other reasons (eg nonprofit etc.)

Nowhere in the terms does it say that all those on the map are eligible.

The Small Business Saturday Map is an interactive map created to help Card Members find and shop at small businesses. It is also a resource for Card Members to find a qualifying small business location where they can redeem the American Express Card Member Offer for Small Business Saturday on 11/30/13. The Small Business Saturday Map will be available to Card Members from 11/21/13-12/1/13. Online-only businesses and businesses without a physical storefront or location do not qualify to be included.

The Shop Small Map is an interactive map, available throughout the year (except from 11/21/13-12/1/13 when the Small Business Saturday Map is available), to help Card Members find and shop at small businesses. In addition to displaying merchants with a physical storefront, the Shop Small Map also displays merchants that only accept online transactions or those that do not have a physical business location. Merchants that only accept online transactions or those that do not have a physical business location will appear on the Shop Small Map until after Small Business Saturday, Nov 30, provided that they are eligible.

How do I know that a particular small business location in my area is a qualifying location?

Of course the fact that it’s on the map doesn’t mean that the business was truthful in their application, but the FAQ seems to indicate that the consumer is not responsible to make that determination.

To get a good transfer you need a tape player with an audio-out jack and a sound card with an audio-in jack. If your tape player only has a headphone jack or your sound card only has a microphone jack you need an attenuating cable but it still won’t give you the same quality (but good enough for speeches).

In the United States, we believe in personal freedom and responsibility. I am pro-casino due only to the much needed tax revenue it will generate.

I urge everyone who lives or vacations in the area to think about other locations with legalized casinos and decide if they would want to live or vacation is such a location.

It’s not about listening, it’s about tranmitting on these channels. Ham radios have dropped in price to the same levels as scanners so kids today are buying 2-way radios instead of scanners.

RD, if I remember correctly, you are Yemenite, which is not really Sephardic.

in reply to: Sephardi Jews are Considered Hispanics #981464

Hispanic is an ethnicity not a race. Although and individual can self-identify with any race or ethnicity the census bureau defines “Spanish/Hispanic/Latino” as “a person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican, South or Central American, or other Spanish culture or origin regardless of race”. Encouraging students to identify as Hispanic sounds like fraud to skew the school’s results.

    Is there such a vision?

I don’t have such a vision (at least not before the arrival of Moshiach). A democracy that allows itself to become a theocracy is just setting itself up to be a despotic dictatorship.

Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.
