I am currently in Yerushalayim in yeshiva on a Masa grant. All we had to do was hear some stuff about the history of the state and the yeshiva is required to make sure we “see the land of Israel” (this means going to the Kosel and taking a few trips a year)

Masa is an organization that gives out a lot of $ for yeshiva students and seminary girls if it is their first year in Israel
