Besides those examples, there are many halachos that depend on contemporary social standards. One example is the extent of the heter of nidrai zeruzim (Nedarim 20b) which will change according to the expectations of average buyers and sellers – and perhaps also according to secular contract law. Another would be labor laws: the restrictions on an employee davening on his boss’s time (Berachos 16a) would, for instance, probably no longer apply.
