Can someone please translate usa-tralians answer they put?I am not great with Hebrew.
ayshosheeParticipantThx so much! My Hebrew is not so great though, unfortunately. Would you mind giving me a clear translation because I am picking up words I know but it is not a flowing translation?
ayshosheeParticipantTo me if a guy drinks on Purim and gets “smashed” then there is nothing wrong with that. It is a mitzvah for one to get drunk to the point of not knowing the difference between ???? ??? and ???? ??????. The thing that I or any other girl would want to know is “how does he handle himself when he is drunk?”. Is he a happy and loving drunk person or does he get roudy and uncontrollable? That’s what it comes down to.
November 17, 2013 8:09 am at 8:09 am in reply to: Filling out an applicationdeceased parent #987412ayshosheeParticipantsmile-sorry for taking so long to get back to you…i know a few girls who went to ateres and from what i heard from them they loved it. i was told it was sort of like a seminary for girls from a more out of town mindset with some (intowners still) but was more on the chilled side academically but still had academics (now to me almost every place is academic compared to where i went) i went to pninim. i loved every moment there and i reallly felt like i fit in and everything was okay and normal in the world!(i didnt want anything with academics really i was more into hashkafa, growth, seeng eretz yisroel and the “seminary expierience”) i have now had 2 friends who have gone/are in binas and it fit well for both of them. i see it as a smaller bnos sara in a way…its really good girls (who some applied to places like bjj and bnos sara) and they are more academic but being that they are pninim’s sister school i saw that they really enjoy themselves there have alot of fun and fun tiulim and the hanhala is filled with an amazing staff who really care! I unfortunately do not know much of anything about seminar and machon raaya (i can try to keep an eye out for info on it and pass it on). my sister is in levavi , a first year school. it used to be afekei torah but they wanted to change to have more of a bais yaakov type of school. she loves it there and says everyone is so caring even the cleaning lady! 🙂 when you are talking with your potential seminary and once you get accepted your seminary, i would be as open about it as you feel comfortable. it is important for them to know and lots of times they will help you with things that may be more difficult. in pninim the teachers were all the type that if you wanted to talk they were there for you! i suggest you find a place like that so if you ever do need to talk to someone then you can…im glad that i had those people!
i unfortunately know practically nothing about you so i dont know if i can help you with “oh i think this place or that place would be good for you” if you feel comfortable maybe just tell me what you are like and what you are looking for.out of the ones you asked about since i dont really know much about them i can tell you which is least hashkafic and well the girls its safe to say you cant really know until you are there about their true maturity level

My father past away 2 months before I went to seminary and I had to fill out things still at that point not application but info stuff for the school. My sister this year is actually in seminary and what we both did/ do in the circumstance is you fill out the space with your father’s name ??? and then by contact stuff put N/A but they might wanna know things about who he was like questions about his past but things that refer to the present put N/A (non applicable)
I unfortunately cannot help with info on chemdas I do not know anything about it but lots of luck!
ayshosheeParticipantWouldn’t it depend on why one is putting up the scarecrow?

May 7, 2012 7:24 pm at 7:24 pm in reply to: Ten Things Your Child's Counselor Wishes You Knew #953437ayshosheeParticipant1)make sure your child will eat the food you send with them – I have had kids come to me saying “I dont have any food and im hungry”
2)send your kids with snacks at snack time they feel very bad when they see all the other kids with their snacks and they dont have
3) tell us if ur child has any allergies preferably write it down on a piece of paper for us if there are multiple things – i had a camper last year who was allergic to what seemed like everything and i felt bad when i would forget and ask if she wanted ‘blank’
4)if your child was only toilet trained in the past few monthes please send a change of clothes (we had to use a kids shirt last year when he had an accident because there was no other option)
5)Get ur children excited for day camp lots of times all they want is to do other things and dont want to participate in activities- this is super hard for us to deal with kids who don’t want to do anything
ayshosheeParticipantit probably stops a whole lot of loshon hara though giving ppl in the convo time to rethink what they want to respond and how
ayshosheeParticipantbut they probably feel better about themselves even though they lost because they made a great kiddush hashem! atleast i hope so
ayshosheeParticipantmaybe start a bit earlier and letit rise a bit more also try a different yeast sounds like its not working too well good luck to ur wife i think its amazing when i hear of people who bake challah so they can do it for tefilla or chessed
ayshosheeParticipantits a whole lot more than only 2 wrongs!!!!
ayshosheeParticipanttoocool and happym19 – dont worry im in pninim this year and its actually really simple rabbi meisels does NOT want to scare anyone he asked me last year things like whats ur friend situation and whats ur favorite subject and he might then discuss that subject with u a little he also looks at ur application and may ask u a few questions on that and then he asks u to read a pasuk and then start reading the rashi (not to test u just to see where ur holding dont stress!!!!)(its also a pasuk usually from what ur learning in chumash)he does NOT ask anything like which animal would u wanna be and y? thats not what hes there for hes there to see if pninim is right for u! good luck on ur interviews and let me know how they go!!!!! 🙂
ayshosheeParticipant789jkl maybe nivay im not really sure of the level of girls there but u can check it out might be worth it
ayshosheeParticipantlast year i got mine mid february its usually about a month after interviews but it does depend which seminary-where did u apply?
ayshosheeParticipantthe issue is not everyone needs to know this information for u to tell someone who it applies to its letoeles but to post it on a thing thats for everyone to read then its not letoeles for everyone

January 19, 2012 9:22 pm at 9:22 pm in reply to: Slow Children ! (Serious people – stay out) #845421ayshosheeParticipanthaha that is hilarious im seriously loling -oops is that aloud “seriously” loling cuz u said no serious people wtvr idc!
ayshosheeParticipanthaha so maybe there are the times he wishes it really rained meatballs and spaghetti…

ayshosheeParticipantwould that be u sternberger???lol
ayshosheeParticipantthx daas now it makes more sense they dont tell u that when they tell u about this whole thing
lol pba were not talking abt the shidduch crisis but wtvr
ayshosheeParticipantin high school was not really thinking too much yet about shidduchim and now in seminary yes i have and my parents do know about this so yay im part of the solution!!! ooo this feels good lol
ayshosheeParticipantok i read it and posted my thoughts so go take a look!
and @ parshaman i really dont feel that my rabbeim would be able to help me with this theyre really amazing but i think nothing will come out of it
@oneofmany i dont want to waste money that i dont have if im not going into a degree needing job no matter whether u did it or not
ayshosheeParticipantin my opinion the marriage in the end is for the guy and the girl- no one else! being this is what it is it should be their opinions in on this thing not others trying to force things upon them they dont want. i believe this is a major reason for many divorces -people r semi forced into things by the thoughts of their surroundings but a person should not become a product of their life “oh this happened so i guess this is what has to happen because ‘A’ happened” also we have to keep in mind
1)not everyone wants a kollel guy (i dont i just want a guy who learns but will also support)
2)someone may want a guy younger than them (i dont but each have their own opinions)
3)Hashem chooses our basheret 40 days before we are born so if a person is having “issues” finding the one then its not the time yet so its not really a “crisis” only looks like it in our eyes dont worry hashem does not make a shortage of guys theyre here in the world somewhere
ayshosheeParticipantthat would be a huge mess and tons of laundry doing though!!!
ayshosheeParticipantbpt that thing is way too long for me too read i will just get lost and prob bored and i know that im not old i would just like to have an idea of life you know that sorta thing a dream a plan
@ oneofmany the things that interest me are not things that u go to a regular college for though except for things that i just totally dropped cuz i wouldnt be able to deal with all the work
ayshosheeParticipantGO RAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀
ayshosheeParticipantoh i guess thats an idea i didnt know there was such things oh i gotta start thinking
ayshosheeParticipantwell thx im just so bored and deciding to be a procrastinator on things i should be doing lol
ayshosheeParticipantmy family was a bit preoccupied with some major family happenings and saddnesses at the time
ayshosheeParticipantthx for the excitement lol 🙂
ayshosheeParticipantim not even finished yet and im freaking out thats a good idea Goq only issue is im in israel and not in my hometown in america and i wanna start figuring things out
ayshosheeParticipantmy point is though that i dont wanna go to college yet cuz i dont know what i wanna do in life so y waste time and money?
ayshosheeParticipantabout what?i come to see other peoples interesting topoics lol! ill have to think about something!!! 😉
@ happym19 i found it actually really interesting but then got bored of ppl just talking about the amount of doughnuts they had new topic!
NEXT! 😀
ayshosheeParticipantok sorry i meant WARM! stay warm not worm!lol
ayshosheeParticipantwhy u changing it????
ayshosheeParticipantrefuah shelaimah!
make sure you stay worm
drink alot of liquids (cold and hot!)
sleep the best you can if it means getting some extra help in the house, taking days off of work/school it is essential to sleep at least a normal amount off sleep each day to build your immune system so it can fight the sickness
also even if not sleeping take it easy because stress makes it worse!
hope this helps!!!! 🙂
