i just read this from beginning to end… all those that posted (blasted) should do the same. i am totally humiliated, mortified and TERRIFIED. yes- terrified because what is holding moshiach back is RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY EYES.
kudos to all those regular posters that did not join in the attack

just fyi (and this is actually on topic): i’ve only been a CR member for ONE WEEK and i had serious CR brain rewiring symtoms over shabbos. scenerio: we’re sitting at the shabbos table discussing age and i’m about to ask (but i catch myself in time) “so how old do you think Joseph really is?” or “RoshYeshiva is probably a girl- ha, just for kicks”. then i suddenly stop and realize- i’m not in the CR and nobody here even knows what the YW CR even is let alone what is discussed there…. or do they???? yow
i can’t even bring up the weather here cuz that has it’s own designated topic unto itself. i guess this aint too hot a thread- asdf, qwerty, anonymisss and all the other usually very excitable mebers haven’t put in their 2 cents yet
if mod55 is a HE i’m a monkey’s uncle. the mods are gonna have to start a whole new yichud thread if mod55 is a female… and the LORs are gonna be real busy
charlie- you’re becoming so very deeply connected to moish through the CR, can i unburden too?

baruch levine is very popular. he’s very hartzig.
nothing can compare to MBD – he is truly the king of jewish music. if you go back and listen to his old english songs (miracles, let my ppl go etc.) you’ll see they’re all classics= stood the test of time. the lyrics can describe and touch every jew at any point in their lives… throughout generations. All his other songs still feel fresh and alive, even though they’re 15, 20 & 25 years old (no- i wasn’t born when a lot of these were composed)
fried’s slow songs can really make you break down and think/cry. he also inspires a great deal of hope and positive feelings
one boy nobody has mentioned: MEYDAD TASA (israeli) check out his latest cd on mostly music.com: Al Naharot Bavel. his voice is TOP, and the way he sings…. a taste of olam habah
Daskal is superb and shwekey has definitely made a huge name for himself
how bout oif simchas and gershon verobah: I know they’re not your most eidel singers, but they really have pizzaz and energy when they sing and i just can’t resist (my yetzer harah)
also very close to the top of the list are mendy & yisroel werdyger, chaim yisrael, isaac honig, country yossi and lipa
am i allowed to mention Yanni?? mostly music sells his cd’s- does that make it “jewish”? and if you like yanni, of course you like yaron gershovsky (like me :})

charlie with brooklyn: logically i assumed charlie is a HE & seems level headed (enough) to even out the temperaments. really- i wanted to put Joseph with brooklyn but Joseph can either be her father or grandpa so….
plus- i just discovered charlie has teenage kids. Sorry brook- you are once again relegated to your single status
gavra and moish: that’s supposed to be a chavrusashaft that lets out sparks about every 2 seconds (thus the fire extinguishers) and i think we need to provide the emergency personnel as well.
moish- go through some old threads (i think on “why yidden are the BEST” and you’ll discover what an “awesome” pair you’d make :})
Bogen i assumed was a male (sorry?)and i am stuck on qwerty and asdf being females- so that was supposed to be a “sensible” match.

WELCOME Mod55…. mazel tov YW. In these uncertain financial times when ppl are getting fired, the chashuvah YW is hiring. I know, i know- YW is really a gemach to support all the yungerleit losing their positions at B&H AND all the avreichim being pushed out of BMG and into the workin world (by their very shverah shvers)

i’m the one that’s not so religious bout it but always wants to go… aim for 3-4 times a week; 45 min. to an hr
i enjoy the broad quiet streets as opposed to populated areas (of course)
my Adidas are great and i wish i can wear em everyd ay all day
the real runners are an inspiration to watch as they go by- keep it up an way to go!
i’m sorry i missed all the action. Moish congrats! you have now become more popular here than Joseph, Squeak and even brooklyn19- that’s a real WOW!
BTW- i sincerely apologize if any of my comments came accross as an attack (my writing comes accross a lot stronger than my real intentions)- I am in full agreement with everything charlie brown said in this thread.
The interesting part is that (in a normal convo with ppl I know) I never dig- I guess the CR brings out the strangest things in me :):):)

Moish01: I feel for you and think that for now you can scratch what NossonD is saying (just because you need more backround info and lingo in order to absorb it- no offense to either of you) and focus on dovid_yehudah’s comment. I think that is much more in line with the stage and emotions you are up to now.
It’s a really tough point in life you’re going through and I wish you loads and loads of hatzlacha. It’s hard to reach out (and reach IN- to yourself)… and it makes it easier to get your answers on this type of forum. But it’s not the right way.
You need proper guidance and direction with plenty of sensitivity, love and care to go along with it.
If you can tell us the general area where you live, perhaps we can direct you as to who you can approach to get all your questions straightened out in a positive way.

analysis: mod99 hands out the herring and chulent in shomer shabbos and only mods during eve hrs. Mod72 is usually busy controlling the parking within a 10 block radius of BMG, and hits his car laptop in between episodes. The others (what others?)just get paid for snoozing. Then again- on a diff thread mod72 mentioned there wasn’t enough dough in the budget for a bulb… so do they get paid at all??

Moish01: don’t be offended by all this gibberish. Nobody knows anyone round here (aside for a few exceptions) and we’re all here for some kicks and/or serious debate. It’s a fantastic world of anonymity where you can really let it rip (if the moderators let your post go through) So just sit back relax and enjoy! and stop scratching your head over the stuff you don’t understand… you’ll get there one day
