Mod 80 if you overtook second place you’re now in it. That is the only correct answer.

Reb Doniel, knowing shas doesn’t qualify you to decide he knows it based on a conversation.

Minyan Gal in the orthodox world sheigetz and shiksa aren’t as negative as you say it is. (I don’t think you’re assertion is wrong though).

it always helps to have a BTL. it looks good on the resume and can help for future credits.

What would be the downside to getting it?

lesschumras they arent closing stores that make money. Had they been cheaper than the local groceries they would still have the jewish business.

I know they still had some jewish customers but it was a fraction of what they had in the past.

once a bris is not on time the 8th healthy day is when you make it not the moment it clears (unless it clears on the 8th day)

My frum Doctor told me my kid was fine for a bris but my mohel said medically and halachically are far apart and my son (eye infection) wouldn’t be able to have the bris if it doesnt clear up in time.

I have heard that the difference between jewish and non jewish stores can be deducted.

Part of the reason Path Mark in Monsey is closing is because their prices overall werent cheaper.

I took your post to mean only chasisdish you meant only people that stay in US. different point still wrong.

You didnt write only just “plus the additional satisfaction” which is another way to say only.

If I’m wrong, you can clarify and I apologize.

    5) Chassidish people do have less problems doing shidduchim then the yeshivish crowd – ask any shadchan

Factually incorrect and nothing to do with her/him implying only chassidim act like “fine yiddish maidlach”; which I took and take offence to.

Dont kid yourself into thinking that Chasidim have less problems then non chasidim. Both sides have some negatives and many positives.

There are so many tuiton/school threads I wasn’t sure where to put this but this is as good as any. It’s not BP specific.

To me making sure that frum kids can go to school is a top priority more so than non frum and tzedakah funds should go there before chinese auctions or non frum kids.

I had the thought last night when reading a letter from a Rebbi whose kids arent being accepted into school because he cant pay tuition. Why cant he pay? he hasnt gotten paid in months.

As society gets more and more open and accepting, we have the opposite problem of discrimination. An adult child (meaning 18+) can get a job, live anywhere, make friends with people who have totally different values. If they find out he’s Jewish, who cares? Or cool, he has ethnic traditions.

A frum man looks jewish immiediatly so it doesnt apply.

so they went along with it until it had no value to them. seems sensible. I would imagine most schools would allow parents to trade a service of value for tuition.

The Rebbein obviously feel that the school can pay otherwise there would be no point in striking.

I agree that it’s insensitve and the “wisdom behind the location” is lacking. I still think it’s their right to build there.

This is America we dont care what other countries or even the home countries practice.

    It should be built.

As jews we should appreciate the freedom of religion and the right to build shuls wherever the zoning allows. to pick and choose whom we allow is a slippery slope.

To me chinuch for a child starts from when they understand even if they dont full get it and arent completely ready.

I dress my kids in costumes on purim, I make them keep shabbos and I take them too shul all as part of chinuch.

The above was too yechezkel and like minded people but I do believe elu v’elu and he’s not wrong.

I disagree with mod. Shul is for davening but I’m not leaving my son at home until he’s 11 and ready to sit 100% of the time. I bring my 6 year old for over a year he davens a little snacks a little and goes out to play a little. My almost 5 year old isnt ready to behave properly for an extended amount of time so I dont bring him to shachris.

I guess I’m in between the OP and some of the others but I feel like in actuality I’m closer to OP.

**I dont allow him to disturb in the shul and I dont bring him to the yeshivish minyan because as someone said they wouldnt tolerate it.**
