How terribly, unfortunately true. The interactions that I have witnessed between parents and their children who are not living their lifestyle is tragic, more tragic than what the children are doing. The parents are the ones who are doing the most destruction. As long as there is that connection and belief in the child’s ability, there is hope.
I was one of “those kids,” not too long ago and I can show you too many who were destroyed by their own parents. It’s so sad.
You must be relieved Moish, although it feels like you’ve been here for a while already.

Squeak, regardless of whether or not parents should/want to know what’s going on, if a parent will react the way many parents do, it kinda makes life easier not to tell them too much.
Moish- It shows a lot about you that you try to make your mother happy. I’m very impressed!
