“I guess I have to work on my bitachon.”
Perhaps the following will help:
Leiby was named after his grandfather, also named Yehuda but known as Leiby. Reb Leiby survived the war along with 2 of his sisters; the rest of his immediate family perished.
Reb Leiby would say that he was so SORRY that he wasn’t able to die AL KIDDUSH HASHEM…what a madrega.
Little Leiby was named after him…

“Costed” is a legitimate word; it’s the past tense & past participle of cost

now just take it for a spin, work it off, & burn some energy!

Choose extra ????? & do it in a niftar’s name (I chose Leiby Kletzky). R Goldwasser mentioned even smiling to people & saying hello to those whom you wouldn’t ordinarily greet. Split sefer Tehillim among others to complete the sefer that day.
There are a myriad of possibilities to choose.

am yisrael chaiParticipantAdorable,
I hope psychology is not your chosen field, because you’re WAY off base.
I’m avoiding as stated. I’ve asked a question first, at TWO separate times, & Dr P avoided answering either, countering with his own question. It’s interesting that you’re not accusing him of avoiding. Why is that?
It’s also not very comforting to me to think that I remind him of a braggart. I’m so not. I have no idea what I wrote that would make him think that.
And for anyone following my short stint in the CR, this is my first & only posting site, which is why I had some “growing pains” learning the ways of bloggers & posters. In fact, Icot & others have helped me along with that. I’ve respected DR P for his intelligent & sincere posts, and it’s upsetting that the feeling’s not mutual. I’m not into counting posts, whether mine or someone else’s. It’s quality that interests me, not quantity.
It’s also “out there” that I had a double whammy of tragedy
http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/how-to-deal-with-pain#post-269396 so your timing to “start up” is quite poor, to beat someone who’s already down.
I had posted that I had a third tragedy now (yes, I have Kletzky blood in me) which was deleted for some reason, so you can understand why I’m upset. VERY.

I had to search for that thread to see what you are talking about…I still don’t know.
On that thread I once again had asked you a question first; you countered with a question of your own w/o answering. I see a pattern here!
am yisrael chaiParticipant“Think bigger please. Don’t worry about the money.”
Ok then, how about a yeshiva wing in her name? Tuition scholarships, day camp scholarships, food pantry, shelter, etc.

If I may, I would add a big thank you to those who did the tahara, such a chesed shel emes, especially in such a case, along with the American equivalent of Zakka (perhaps that would be Misaskim)
am yisrael chaiParticipantBlabla
You have no idea how much you have helped others suffering from what you describe. You have an amazing outlet of writing poetically that many other sufferers don’t have. In fact, some say they have no outlet at all. They are connecting with you on a level that you REALLY understand what they are going through. It’s amazing how at a low point of your life, you are still helping so many.
Wishing you tons of hatzlacha & siyata d’shmaya.
am yisrael chaiParticipant“The subtitle was me 🙂 Does anybody know where that line is from?”
It’s a quote by Christopher Paolini, but it begins with “Best of luck.” Now, why wouldn’t you want to wish kapusta best of luck? 🙂
am yisrael chaiParticipantmods, can you please honor Blabla’s request?

I read your poem with much pain in my heart
I’ve got so much to say, don’t know where to start
Be prepared to be surprised, for we all care about you
Regardless if you’re a skinny or overweight Jew
It’s the essence of you that we care about
Your sensitivity and caring, of that please have no doubt
I wish you could see the YOU that we all see
Your resilience shines through in all your poetry
Is it possible for you to accept yourself as you are
Your creative talent surpasses others by far
You’re important just as you are, for you house Hashem’s neshama
Your ??? is the ???? for this special neshama kedosha
Beautify this holy temple as best as you can
Vitamins and minerals are essential to every man
You are noticed and you’re receiving honorable recognition

You can choose a chiropractor who does not use manipulation in treatment.
I also did not use to believe in it as my training is in standard Western methodology.
Experience has changed my mind.

am yisrael chaiParticipant“There is no medical evidence supporting the efficacy of homeopathic/aternative medicine.”
There’s quite a bit of evidence supporting chiropractics.
Dr. Ronald Pero (chief of cancer prevention research) in 1975 measured 107 people who received long term chiropractic care. These patients had a 200% greater immune competence than those without chiropractic care. They also showed a 400% greater immune competence than thoe ith the machla or other serious disease.
There have been other supporting studies on this topic since then, to the extent that standard health insurance carriers have somewhat modified their stance from originally not covering any alternative health care.
