    Icot

    Welcome back!

I got about just as far as you wrote, maybe a drop more (I had asked you previously if the last word was decode), but did so differently, so could you please continue your process?

(I was decoding in a “guessing” way also but I thought there should be a more methodical way of decoding)

Also, how did you link Joseph’s post to “this post?”

And why did you use that post as an aid?

    TIA

When someone asked a famous rav what his minhag was regarding walking the kallah down (either with both her parents or with both the mothers), he answered that his minhag is whatever the other side wants! Ohev shalom v’rodef shalom!

After reading about all the older singles thread, focus on the fact that they found each other! (And tell the DJ to lower the volume.)

This is a wonderful link to type in Hebrew.

You can play w/o knowing Yiddish, as long as you know Hebrew.

Take a word from the previous phrase and create a new phrase.

    E.g.,

    Shabat shalom

    Shalom aleichem

    Enjoy!

    1 <x <100

    1 <y <100

Since Mr. Product can’t figure out the #s, then the product of x*y has multiple factors and x & y can’t both be prime #s.

How would Mr. Sum know that Mr. Product wouldn’t know the #s?

    I dunno.

Mr. Sum knows the sum of x+y. The sum cannot be even, since all positive even integers can be expressed as the sum of 2 prime #s. (TRY IT, you’ll see, and that will be your fun for this summer…)

Therefore, the sum must be odd.

If the sum is odd, then one number is odd and the other is even.

(TRY IT, you’ll see, and that will be more fun for you this summer…)

If one # is odd & the other # is even, then the product must be even.

(TRY IT, …ok, you know this by now 🙂 )

So what we have so far:

    – X&Y are not both primes

    – x+y is odd

    – x is odd & y is even (or vice-versa)

    Now it’s trial & error (mostly error…)

It’s fine to write when you feel negative, blabla.

It just seemed as if you didn’t read the poem right before that one, and I was trying to get you to see the positive side, too…It’s just too hard to concentrate on mostly the negative

you were so not offensive, plz don’t think that you were 🙂

Instead of focusing on not davening, try to focus on gratitude. It’s a process. You’ve had what seems like negative experiences happen to you (btw, they happen to everyone). The process is to focus on those things that are going right/correctly in your life.

Find that half-full glass. Once you do, joie-de-vivre kicks in automatically. And so does bitachon that whatever Hashem has dealt you is inevitably in your best interest.

Can’t wait to see when you are truly HAPPIEST!

True story, but name may have been changed for privacy:

Dovid was beaming during his son’s bris. Nothing was going to spoil this wonderful day. There was a festive atmosphere. Baby gifts were beginning to pile up. Among the presents was an assortment of stuffed animals.

Dovid’s dad was dismayed. “You can’t bring treife animals into your house, it’s not good chinuch for the baby,” he kept saying. Dovid just smiled. “A teddy bear is not a yiddishe gift,” continued Dovid’s dad. “A bear is not kosher.” Dovid didn’t reply.

People began to hush straining to hear the baby’s new name… ????? ??? ???????…

    Dov Ber 🙂

    Answer:

If someone davened sh’mone esrei in middle of seudas shlishis (before bentching), AND forgot Atah Chonantanu, AND ate or drank something afterwards (before bentching, before making havdala), the halacha is that he must daven sh’mone esrei again.

“its(sic) not changing anything within yourself”

    The sages respectfully disagree.

In fact, we are told that it’s better to give $1 100 times than give a single $100 bill, for the act of giving numerous times changes a person.
