always hereParticipant
a mamim~ I am absolutely respectful of Leiby, A’H.
my point is that I don’t feel deleting my acc’ts is relevant to his memory, may it be a blessing.
always hereParticipantlovesbeingjewish~ this is an open forum & I am free to post whatever I choose. I don’t see anywhere in your OP where it says to only post if you’re deleting your FB acc’t.
as far as your calling my input useless: —> 😛
always hereParticipantI’m not deleting neither my Facebook account nor my YWN-CR account… & it has nothing to do with Leiby, A’H.
always hereParticipantWolf~ I believe the loshon hora line was a non sequitur. 😉
always hereParticipantpba~ you also had a line up top explaining that you were joking that was deleted.
not funny, & I’ve got QUITE a sense of good humor!!
always hereParticipantif this thread is just a joke, then what’s the point?! to have people misunderstand & get riled up/upset? :/
always hereParticipantgo next door to Tzefas:
24th Klezmer Festival- 15, 16, 17 August 2011
artists’ colony- pick up a beautiful piece of microcalligraphy artwork
😀
always hereParticipantit wasn’t obvious to me… I was gonna *roar*!!
always hereParticipantMomma~
IMO, you have enough on your plate without adding her problems. you said that you dafka distanced yourself from her because she’s not a true ‘friend’ (aha! your quotes). get out of it gracefully, but succinctly.

so did I, last night. (actually “BD’E”).. & also posted a ‘Back to Black’ clip. it was the first thing I saw online when I logged on after Shabbos.
always hereParticipantmy 3 1/2 y.o. granddaughter says she’s gonna marry her mommy 😉
always hereParticipantmy 7 y.o. granddaughter tells me she’s going to marry my 7 y.o. grandson (her cousin). … it’s a kid thing 😉

July 22, 2011 3:45 pm at 3:45 pm in reply to: What special Shabbos dish are you making today? #789393always hereParticipantI’m a BT & I’m not having subs.
traditional foodstuffs/Shabbos menu. the only thing different this week: I’m making turkey wings for tonight… don’t usually do turkey, & certainly not wings 😉
always hereParticipantseveral months ago, when I mentioned to my doctor that my daughter had just had a mis, he said ‘oh, that’s very common’ … it was not any consolation & I took it as insensitive 🙁
always hereParticipantKen~ veryy clever! 🙂
always hereParticipantmosherose, you funny guy!~ where is it written how a Gadol paid for the costs of his simchas?! do you know their caterers, lol?!

July 21, 2011 3:43 pm at 3:43 pm in reply to: Changed Topic of Shiur – Do I Have A Right To Be Disappointed? #788305always hereParticipantWolf~ as far as having something to eat/drink in the hospital’s Bikur Cholim/Yad Eliezer room: there are many times I’m @ the hospital for a test (not necessarily fasting) & I stop in & have something. you can make a donation into their pushka there! 🙂
always hereParticipantI feel your pain… speak with someone (professional/support group).

always hereParticipanthowdy 🙂
always hereParticipantthat has troubled me also.
on all four of my children’s invitations we used “DH’s first name & my first name” in the Hebrew format.
on my younger daughter’s & younger son’s invitations, in addition to the Hebrew, we used ‘DH’s first name & my first name’ in the English as well.
always hereParticipantIsrael does, too.
always hereParticipantAnother name~ it is mentioned in the last line of the OP.
always hereParticipantI’m listening to Bob Dylan’s ‘Forever Young’ right now & getting all misty. (it’s my b-dy)
July 17, 2011 3:08 am at 3:08 am in reply to: Many attempts were made for the Kallah. How would you proceed? #791228always hereParticipantmazel tov!

always hereParticipant<
is having a timeout in the CR’s Cocoa Room for writing “In this week’s Parshas Naso”!! 🙁…even my 7 y.o. grandson knew it’s Parshas Pinchas.
… it’s been a rough week 🙁
always hereParticipantcongrats Reb 80, aka Mr. 80! 🙂
always hereParticipanthmmm.. good question! but all 7th graders, for sure!!! :-O
always hereParticipantI wasn’t gonna respond on this thread, but–
yes, wanderingchana~ I suggested it & still think it’s a good idea.
always hereParticipantKMR retreat: choice of Canadian Rockies in July or Colorado Rockies in August. (I went in 2009 to the Vail, Co. one.. it was gr8. I actually would’ve preferred Canada but I won the trip, so…).
always hereParticipantfor example– you can get her an ‘eternity ring’… a ring of diamonds all around. (google it, if you don’t know what it is).
always hereParticipantjewelry or a trip!! I stand firm! ..what’s not for her to like?! 😉
always hereParticipantoutoftownjew~ apologies for hijacking your thread :/
always hereParticipantyour welcome, Goq~ May all the best in life come your way!
Good Shabbos to you, & all, as well! 🙂
always hereParticipantam yisrael chai~ thank you. Amen!
public (private already given) apologies to my DH… he got me the most gorgeous b-day cake! 🙂 .
always hereParticipantas per oomis’ suggestion to give out brachas today, on my Hebrew birthday~
to all who need refuas, yeshuas, shidduchim, children (babies), parnassah, or whatever you need~
In this week’s Parshas Naso:
“Thus shall you bless the people of Israel. Say to them:
Hashem bless you and protect you!
Hashem deal kindly and graciously with you!
Hashem bestow His favor upon you and grant you peace!
Thus they shall link My name with the people of Israel, and I will bless them.”
May Hashem answer all your worthy tefillas!!
always hereParticipantoops! selicha, oomis~ thank you 🙂 Amen! & that’s a gr8 idea.
always hereParticipantam yisrael chai~ thank you:) Amen!
always hereParticipantwell informed indeed 😉
always hereParticipantthanks, Goq! Amen!
everyone says I don’t look it.. youthful in spirit… my rock ‘n roll keeps me young ;-D
always hereParticipant60!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-O B’H, k’a’h, amush
always hereParticipanttrue, it’s a little different than an anniversary, but tonight is my Hebrew birthday~ a BIG one. I most certainly would NOT want a pen or keychain, nor a nice poem! what I really want is a kosher cruise, nice jewelry, or a trip anywhere~ even to a hotel upstate. what I’m probably getting is nothing from my DH; from my children & grandchildren~ most probably flowers & a cake; plus the 2 young married couples are coming for Shabbos.
Goq~ you wrote exactly what I would have. 😉
Wolf~ very sweet & thoughtful. 🙂
outoftownjew~ Mazel Tov & many more happy, healthy ones together! 🙂
always hereParticipantyes, thank you soo much! .. agree with all that was said above^
always hereParticipantlb72~ you can still get phentermine?! it’s still on the market?!
I took phen-fen in the late ’90’s. then there was a Class Action Suit! I got in on it because of heart valve damage & received a LARGE settlement. (B’H, my valves seem fine now.)
July 14, 2011 12:00 pm at 12:00 pm in reply to: Changed Topic of Shiur – Do I Have A Right To Be Disappointed? #788260always hereParticipantJMO~ you’re ALWAYS entitled to your feelings & opinions. but this is no biggie, so move on. 🙂
always hereParticipantonly one thing on my bucket list: to take a kosher cruise… to anywhere.
always hereParticipantI saw ‘Annie’ w/ Andrea McArdle (the original) about 34 years ago.
& one very weird off-(off?)-B’way.
oh! & ‘BEATLEMANIA’ on New Year’s Eve 1977– exactly a week before I got married 🙂
I doubt if any of them are still around for you to see; sorry, I wasn’t of any help 🙂
always hereParticipantyes, Goq, you are a character!!! LOL J/K!!! 😀
