my point is that I don’t feel deleting my acc’ts is relevant to his memory, may it be a blessing.

several months ago, when I mentioned to my doctor that my daughter had just had a mis, he said ‘oh, that’s very common’ … it was not any consolation & I took it as insensitive 🙁

Wolf~ as far as having something to eat/drink in the hospital’s Bikur Cholim/Yad Eliezer room: there are many times I’m @ the hospital for a test (not necessarily fasting) & I stop in & have something. you can make a donation into their pushka there! 🙂

that has troubled me also.
on all four of my children’s invitations we used “DH’s first name & my first name” in the Hebrew format.
on my younger daughter’s & younger son’s invitations, in addition to the Hebrew, we used ‘DH’s first name & my first name’ in the English as well.
Israel does, too.
Another name~ it is mentioned in the last line of the OP.

KMR retreat: choice of Canadian Rockies in July or Colorado Rockies in August. (I went in 2009 to the Vail, Co. one.. it was gr8. I actually would’ve preferred Canada but I won the trip, so…).
for example– you can get her an ‘eternity ring’… a ring of diamonds all around. (google it, if you don’t know what it is).

true, it’s a little different than an anniversary, but tonight is my Hebrew birthday~ a BIG one. I most certainly would NOT want a pen or keychain, nor a nice poem! what I really want is a kosher cruise, nice jewelry, or a trip anywhere~ even to a hotel upstate. what I’m probably getting is nothing from my DH; from my children & grandchildren~ most probably flowers & a cake; plus the 2 young married couples are coming for Shabbos.

I took phen-fen in the late ’90’s. then there was a Class Action Suit! I got in on it because of heart valve damage & received a LARGE settlement. (B’H, my valves seem fine now.)
