Daas Yochid~ ‘Why, what did you write?’

thank you for your response 🙂

I wrote strongly about how smoking is an addiction, etc., etc.’

nottelling~ I have a feeling that I know who you are.. a sensitive soul like myself… the difference is that I don’t feel ignored IRL.

I would say there is literally less than a handful of posters who respond to my posts. sometimes I feel like posting again a little further down in a thread, signing myself as ‘chopped liver’. truthfully, I felt ostracized since my posts on smoking. I’m just sayin’…

nottelling~ I think you should keep your regular SN. 🙂

thanks to YWN for the posting on main pg of celebrations around the world!

watching the almost 10 minute clip of the celebration @ Toldos Aaron brought me so much joy.. I have tears in my eyes.

actually, I started out looking for our cousins.

brought back memories of going there w/ a Shomrei Emunim cousin to hear the beautiful singing Friday night. all the women were wearing black teichels & I was wearing a white one, lol.

dunno & adorable~ there’s ‘friendly’ & there’s ‘intrusive’. as you get older you’ll see there is a big difference. I love warm, friendly people but others, (passive-aggressive for example), not so much.

to: I can’t bring myself to write your name, & I’m not gonna shorten it cuz my screen name has always been shortened by peeps here in the CR to ‘always’ 😉

I agree with you 100%. this prying/interrogation has also always gone against my grain & is a pet peeve of mine.

my solution? I answer succinctly… answer what I choose to and refuse to be pulled into another’s line of questioning. sometimes they are just speaking to hear the sound of their own voice; besides for that, I don’t feel the need to supply info to another just so they can pass it on.

you must be a kinder, gentler soul than I 🙂

“Goq, can you get someone you trust to ask the Baal Simcha? Id want clarity. I’d feel the same way as Goq.” I definitely agree.

Goq~ recently we found out that our neighbor from across the street was making a wedding for his son but we hadn’t received an invitation… pretty much the only ones on the block who didn’t. my husband had even been at the neighbor’s own wedding! another neighbor mentioned it to the Baal Simcha, who then personally came over to my husband & apologized & invited us. obviously, it had been lost in the mail.

    I’m just sayin’…

Goq~ please be comforted & don’t take it personally. .. my! that sounded trite .. but it is sincere 🙂

my son once had his father’s video store card on him.. it fell out of his pocket.. & he got expelled immediately. no warning, no second chance.

I think I do believe this could have happened to the boy in the OP.
